I got out of Luna 2 weeks before the crash when I looked at the tokenomics and realized that Luna could be minted out of thin air to fund the market cap growth of UST. Thus, Luna's price and coin supply were the only thing backing up UST. At the same time Luna's price was dependent on the market cap of UST and Anchor protocol which was itself unsustainable. However, the algorithm focused only on fluctuations over the price of UST, not the price of Luna, which meant if Luna's price collapsed, UST would go down with it. There was really nothing stable about UST. You can't back a stable coin by the value of your network alone.

For whatever reason 20% seemed not persuasive enough for me. I came to crypto from a stock background and i’m used to making good returns on my money so 20% is pretty easy to achieve on safe assets if you DCA into them or buy them at the opportune time. To me it just wasn’t worth the hassle until I have money to actually waste on it. For now I just keep betting on ETH and BTC for the most part while diversifying with alt-coins here and there. 1) I agree, ETH is the best of all shitcoins. Still a shitcoin tho. In a decentralized blockchain a founder should not matter. That's the whole point of decentralization. Do Kwon did not cause the "death spiral". It's the fundamental flaw for algorithmic stablecoins that caused the collapse. But it is fixable.
