As a Miami Hurricanes guy....I would only add that it is early. VERY early. In college football....anything can happen. Take nothing for granted. on any given Saturday......a non ranked team could defeat a ranked team. That is why it is beautiful.

It's pretty apparent that it doesn't matter who plays qb at FSU right now. The lines of scrimmage have been disastrous. A change in qb is not fixing those issues. Memphis is looking like the favorite to me, and I don't think it's close.

FSU's Toxic Diva act has made them a target for other ACC teams, who think that FSU is a team that needs to be brought back to reality and punished for their "Like a Bad Neighbor, Florida State Is There" act. Nowadays, one of a lot of folks favorite teams is "Whoever Is Playing Florida State." Ironically, this will help FSU's viewership, as a lot of folks will tune in to see them get beaten.

I dont feel bad for anyone that jumps ship during a tough time to go to what they think is greener pastures but end up in a desert. But do wonder what all those bama guys at fsu are thinking now. Roydell williams, malik benson, Ferguson, earl little jr, and shawn murphy have to be sitting in Tallahassee regretting their decision after opening up 0-2 to unranked teams and then seeing bama win 63-0 and playing their 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers the entire 2nd half. I get roydell because hes in his last year and never was going to start with the level of talent bama has at running back right now but the other guys had years left and had a shot at real playing time either this year or the next. Although i dont think malik benson was going to start either with guys like ryan williams and rico scott coming in at receiver this year but he for sure would of seen decent playing time. The portal is here and it is what it is but loyalty still matters and a lot of guys this year are seeing how transferring does not always work out. And a lot of coaches are seeing that you cant just recruit the portal and bring in 20+ new guys every year while losing atleast that many to the portal and nfl each year and sustain success. You have to recruit high school ranks predominantly and develop guys that are bought in to the program. Fsu is case and point for this.

hey dude, really like your channel, and here is what i have said before. this team is awful!! and it ain't just the QB . The whole team is bad!! esp, the o line and dee line. the special teams are exceptional!! yes we need to put brock glenn in there!! He gives you another demention, and can extend plays and move the ball down the field!! he can scramble around and run down the filed for lots of yards!! the o line can not protect dju, he seems very uncomfortble in the pocket and miss's open receivers and also throws the ball in the dirt!! take him out!! and here is what makes it so bad. This team is not fixable. ya'll are looking at a 3-9 season and no bowl!! sorry folks that's just the way it is!!

I whole heartedly agree with the experience with qb 90% of the time but the elite guys are different. Both bryce young as a sophmore and tua as a sophmore blew up right away and did as good or better their sophmore year as they did their junior year. But there is no question that most of the time, an experienced qb is the better route over a talented but inexperienced qb. At this point i feel like FSU and norvell are married to DJ. Im just curious what norvell or anyone thought they were going to get out of DJ. We have 4 years of game play footage on the guy and hes never showed any sign of being a great qb option. Outside of the 1 notre dame game in 2020, hes never been better than just mediocre at his absolute best.

@bryansullivan4027 Taggart inherited a bad team from Jimbo, yet he was fired after 2 seasons with a better record than Norvell had. Taggart 9-12 Norvell 8-13 Taggart also got JT from the portal. Norvell got DJU. Taggart might not be the best coach, but he's better than Norvell.

@@midtown1466don’t be silly. Taggert is nowhere near Norvell. Taggert at FAU went 15-17 afterwards. Norvell is not perfect and made mistake in this transfer portal period. Also two of the starting o linemen are from 2019 recruitment class which is also taggert, both 3 star recruits. Norvell is a good day to day HC, but his recruiting is very much lacking. With more talent he can make more out of this program.

For me I think putting in Brock Glenn would be a significant drop off. He was terrible in thr Louisville game. And he was surrounded by Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, and Jaheim Bell. And he had an elite defense. I understand he was a true freshman. But there was absolutely nothing there that showed promise. Brock is not good. Simple as that. He has no future here at FSU. Luke is the future. But hes too young

Norvell can't fix the team. GT was one thing, but losing badly at home to BC? The OL and DL are overmatched. That takes a long time to fix. Criticize DJ all you wish, but FSU can't run the ball (117th in rush off) and can't stop the run (123rd in rush def).
