I love the "side effects" of having debt = anxiety, depression, loss of freedom, lack of fulfillment. This isn't the American dream, this is the American nightmare.

Not sure if I could be as minimal as these dudes. But less is more for sure. I can totally see the relief to getting rid of “things”

I've been wanting to declutter my master bedroom (which is also my office, guest room, and craft room), so I am going to play the minimalist game! Thanks, Rachel, Joshua, and Ryan.

Thank you Rachel for actually letting them speak lol Dave barely lets them talk for 10 seconds without cutting them off. Glad to hear what they have to say in their own words not just Dave’s.

In the words of Sheryl Crow... "It's not having what you want.... ITS WANTING WHAT YOU'VE GOT!" 🎵🎵 🎵 Being intentional about what you have makes you appreciate it that much more!

How about throwing some of the stuff in your house that belongs to your kids? Living with people that are horter, how can you get them to try to purge a thing.

Will this pay for it self is a great philosophy. Instead of making someone else rich, how about trying to increase your wealth by better utilise what you have already. I always ask myself. DO I NEED THIS? Often the answer is no. If I have something that I don't use or need then ebay here it comes 😉 kerr-ching 💸💸💸

I love the idea of minimalism, but what does he really mean that the average home has 300k items in it? I don’t see how anyone can really have that much stuff. Does that mean if I have a box of 500 Q-tips I should count that as having 500 items?
@myrtlebeachsara

Yes! They count every single item in the overall number
@tcgtpl

@@myrtlebeachsara Does that include the number of toilet paper squares? I guess 2-ply counts double as well? LOL
@myrtlebeachsara

@@tcgtpl lol 🤣 I think they would count a whole toilet paper roll as 1! I would hope! I'm sure cleaning pods are counted per pod, and lots of small things really add up! We all have to much stuff but I think 300k is a bit of an overreach!
