The bus roof you can seal with rv gel coat, or something else I've done is use elastomeric rubber roof coating for houses because it flexes well and helps seal seams also.

For onboard power, fit a leisure battery and a split-charge system, that way you can charge the leisure battery off the main power when the engine's running, but it won't drain the main battery when parked up and watching TV & running lighting, pretty common setup in motorhomes, RVs, boats and the like... :)

Isaac if you notice on the screw the top of it has a little indention so you could put some pliers on it and then tighten it with the wrench so you don't need to reach the other end of the screw you can hold on to the tip of it I hope you understand what I mean kind of like a shock the top of the shock you clamp on to it and then you can unscrew it because it spins same kind of principle just clamp onto the top of the screw you'll see it? Then you said open and wrench tighten her down holding the other end with some pliers or vise grips

Isaac, you may want to build a roof rack for the bus out of 1" square tubing, then put a couple of solar panels on the roof. You should be able to get about 3-5 panels up there no problem depending on the size and wattage. But just adding 2 100 watt panels would give you 6 to 10 amp of charging for 5-9 hours a day. Put in a 20 amp charge controller and 115 AH deepcycle battery, and you should be able to run your TV for 20+ hours.
