What he said is very true. drugs are so evil so bad they are even so bad that you wouldn't realize it until you are in a very big problem and already your character got damaged and your life changed because of it. For me personally, i really believe that i would have gone this road myself and a part of me wanted it in the past as i was living under a war and emigrated forcibly alone when i was 21 and found myself in a different country alone and had financial problems. At these hard times people would start thinking of drinking and smoking heavily so they can feel relieved, but Islam saved me from all of this. I didnt cross the red lines i put to myself since i was a child like even drinking and i didnt let my bad friends change that. Islam saved from taking this path even before taking it and I can enjoy a cup of coffee with a sea view more than a drug addict would enjoy their first dose. Being close to Allah, praying , listening to Quran and reciting it is the cure for our hearts, nothing else.
