My son is 21 now I left his father when he was 3 and he told me if Im not with him he won't be In his life and he didn't lie, but I made sure he knew who is other family was grandparents included, he saw him for the last time when he was 10 and my son told me he never wanted to see him again, when I talked to his father the following year he told me I'm not calling him if he can't call me on my birthday I was floored, it's now in there hands I'm totally out of it at this point because he is grown... Bruh this is my father. Even though he raised us and im grateful for everything he has done, the hell he put my mother and my 3 sisters through was uncalled for. Get therapy so they can manage their feelings in a healthy way so they can have healthy relationships. I stop speaking to my mom for over 10 years. I just couldn't have her toxicity around me. A few months before she died I tried to build a relationship. She was still the hateful person she always is. I stop speaking to her again. She passed away. I don't regret removing her out my life
