Wait I don’t understand this the child has no control over the parents money unless they give the child that control so maybe the parents should learn how to budget too… rather than kids who’ve learned money habits from the parents

Teach your children Fiscal Hygiene as soon as they can understand what money is. It's one area that parents tend to think their children won't understand, or don't need the knowledge.They actually do. Teach them about budgeting, what exactly credit is, what percentage rates are, and how to live in their own means. The sad part is that most children leave home as young adults having no idea what it takes to make, save, and budget money. Too many think credit cards equal free money, and end up paying for things in their 30's that they purchased in their 20's, and most likely don't still own.

Clothing and shoes: $400 a month?! I didn't know people buy clothes every month. Of course, there are times throughout the year where it's necessary to buy clothing or one does see something they want to buy... but every month? I think this was good for the whole family because if they're struggling they all need to learn how to budget. They're obviously all driven and have hobbies that are very important to their lives and that's great but learning where to cut back without cutting out your happiness is also essential :)

I may buy stuff every month sometimes. But then it will be a tshirt or a new bikini during summer or something. And then sometimes I won't shop clothes for a year. I will shop at a shop that isn't that expensive, either, I don't need fancy brands. So I guess, they are just insane 😂

Gosh, I love this girl. I’ve watched this episode twice just to see that lovely smile once more. From all the episodes on that season, the only one I wanted to see again. I hope she’s grown into a sensible, beautiful lady. Well done Imogen :) 💙

$4138 a month. 💀... My fixed budget is 700 a month...which in all honesty ...I could reduce to 400 a month since I pay rent 6 months upfront (4k) so I really have no huge expenses unless it's unexpected expenses like speeding fine, car problem, etc. I waste money mostly on food and clothes 😣

I mean she learned a lesson, saved them a lot of money and also put the money back into the house and didn't spend it on herself. I'd say for a teenager she did well.

@@janebaker4912 I laughed when they were smelling the laundry soap to figure out which one her parents used Lol. It wouldn't be as fun if mistakes weren't made (that's apart of living and learning too) and I thought she was very caring about her dad's diet for the competition while shopping for food. :)

The way these teenage girls dress give me a headache. Children should cover themselves up. This should not be normalized for kids to dress like this.
@luceliapretorius4155

Children and teenagers should dress modestly! Showing so much skin at a young age is inappropriate. Imagine what their boundaries would be like as adults because no one taught them to dress properly. People who dress their kids like this and the ones saying it's okay for kids to dress like this are the ones sexualizing their kids, not me.
