I have been scowled at many times for mentioning that the celtic tree zodiac was invented recently. However i suppose that's not a reason for it being invalidated. Only that it's history is wrong.

The history is wrong, but people have been making various types of divination and types of things that be considered a "zodiac" so It is, admittedly, something isn't very "new". It doesn't change the history being wrong but at the same time its like... *shrug* pick the battles I suppose.
