I enjoy learning more about the Ogham. I made a sort of Ogham about the trees in my local area with different symbols, mostly different oaks and pines, but also maple and birch. I collected sticks from all of my tree species and am in the process of burning their symbols on them. Your videos are so relaxing as well as enjoyable and informative.

Hello, I want to thank you for sharing this. It feels like my Nan is reaching out to me, she passed when I was 14 and I am now 42. I have recently reconnected with my parents so I think she is letting me know she is happy about that. We are Celts. Nana, Mum and I were born in Newport, Gwent, Sth Wales. My Dad was born in Redcar, his Dad was Irish and his mum was English. Our family name is Fox, mum's maiden name was Lord and Nan's maiden name was Tyler. We emigrated to Australia in 1983, and I was lucky enough to go back, it was such an amazing and mind blowing experience as the historical depth is so vast and different to what you see (and feel energetically). And it was also the most heart breaking experience because upon returning we were told that Nan was in hospital and she didn't have long left. She passed within a fortnight if our return, I swore even back then that she held in to say goodbye. She has always been my biggest inspiration, she taught me so much and I am so grateful for the insight love and wisdom she shared with me, and I love it when I see and hear her messages to me, she is still my number 1 supporter and hero. Thank you for this magnificent video Lian Fox ( Nan's name was Lilian and my folks derived my name from hers, her loving nickname by the family was The Dragon, she was so humble, warm sand caring, sharp as a tack until 83 years old, lived through WW1 & WW2, raised her 5 siblings to then raise 5 of her own. Grandad passed when Mum was 9, she was a war baby and the youngest by 9 years, Nan invented the dishwasher a long time before it was 'invented' my Aunty's told me she drew out a schematic drawing of her idea straight onto the kitchen table, no paper, just straight on the table! She was an amazing and inspiring woman, oh and she travelled through Egypt, India and Singapore with her best friend when they were in their 60's ! When I used to stay with her, which was pretty often, she was my mother figure, we used to have so much fun, she would tell me stories about the land we were from, and one last memory, she (and I when I was with her) used to volunteer of her local council helping people with MS. I always was so amazed at her energy, and wisdom.

It's fascinating to note or add that these ancient languages and knowledge are seen in many modern video games, and they are very popular among the young who are into Medieval and Bronze Age history. I have been recently really interested in how ancient Europeans did things and how their beliefs were before Christianity. Fascinating how ancient Europeans were very much like the ancient people in other nations, in that they too were very fond and connected with Nature. Wonderful to see how the youth today (seeing in comments and in various videos throughout Social Media) are interested in knowing their family heritage and wanting to find ways to work with Nature. I always felt we can still live a modern existence, i.e. still be a technologically advanced society, without sacrificing Nature, but instead learn from Her and God to work with the forces around us in order to perfect technology that benefits all. We are part of this world, so it is in our best interest to protect and work with Nature, God and the forces of this planet. Thank you for sharing your experiences, insight and these wise interviews with us, Lady Convey.

Thank you so much for this video. I've been teaching Ogham in my small corner of the world (in the US) for a few years (mostly scout troops and college kids). I had no idea about the connection to the Roman Catholic church because I've never really studied the history of Ogham (in the same ways I've not studied the linguistics of the English language). This inspired me to learn more :-). Thank you!
@DanusIrishHerbGarden

Well it is not really connected to the Church, it is just that the early Church in Ireland claimed the land as its property and used ogham to convince the locals. xx

Interesting, the use of the Anglo linear language to explain a Celtic or pre Celtic may not be suitable. The Celtic or Gaeilge language is Non Linear, the Anglo language is Linear. It may be worthwhile to examine the 8 Trigrams from China, as this may be close to Ogham. Go Raibh mhaith agat alig.

I'll never understand any advantage to catholicism...I know both sides well, I prefer holly and oak

I don’t believe the claim that the first Ogham on stone was written by Catholic Priests ! Sounds like Roman propaganda to me ! 🤘

It’s not ancient it’s medieval and the Druids used a Greek script.
