7:55 Mana drain doesn't fizzle, it resolves but just doesn't counter the spell. Notably, this means that Jason still would've gotten the mana from mana drain in his next pre-combat main phase. It wouldn't have mattered in this game, but it's good to know in case it's relevant at some point.

Ive been playing Zur wrong, I thought you needed Solimnidy out to not get poison counters with Phyrexian Unlife. Until now when you said lose of life is not damage HAHAHA great vid!!

I mean if the opponents have a very aggressive creature board state then yeah. But with a plan to win to the game right there and with ad naus you don't need solemnity.

This was a really cool game, the ONLY play I wish would've happened is Cam bouncing the Temporary Lockdown and making it a 50/50 mana crypt kills Jason on upkeep. His crypt really hated him this game lol.

I love Prossh, sad it didn't perform too well. I'll be honest I have...no idea what that deck was supposed to do. It seemed kind of like a high powered tokens deck. I have a turbo-naus food chain Prossh deck that seems to still work decently well and I'm just super surprised there was no food chain in the deck list.

Hey, Cam! May I ask why you chose to search for Swansong instead of something that prevents players from searching their decks? That would've delt with Zur, and would've severely limited the power of Thoracle.

To be fair, i disagree with yall saying you couldnt find that one extra damage since there were several turns where cam couldve swung in but chose to swing elsewhere, but doing so wouldve removed a player and their interaction which cam was trying to not do.

Instead of getting rid of Zur, I would have gotten rid of the enchantment that exiled the artifact that deals 3 damage (coin flip) to his owner. That way, cameron had 50% of t he chance to kill the zur player with his own artifact.

Agreed. Food Chain/turbo naus Prossh is definitely...outclassed, but he's my first commander, I love him, and he can definitely still sit at and be somewhat competitive at a cedh table.

I thought you can’t pay life you don’t have, so Necropotence doesn’t work below 0 life?

If this is referring to the game winning line, the Phyrexian Unlife is being used in conjunction with Ad Naus and the Necropotence is no longer being used. Phyrexian Unlife lets you stay alive while Ad Naus puts your deck in your hand, since you're not paying life or dealing yourself damage
