@icemanfiveoh yeah, it's a real bummer. I dropped the pan and couple days ago and there was chunks of connecting rod in it. I'm definitely not giving up on it, but I do need to finish a few of the other projects around here while I search for another engine for it or get the ambition to rebuild this one

Don't be hard on yourselves, damn fast for that truck. Most people have no clue what a 10 second vehicle feels like. I gave a buddy from high school a ride in my vette the other day. Couple pulls and hes giggling and talking about how its the fastest thing hes ever been in. He was dead serious and said its gotta be an 8 second vette. I laughed because I thought he was joking. Then I told him the fastest pass ive made on the track was a 12.3...... Thats when he got upset because before the ride he told me his honda runs 11 flat. His alternator mysteriously started acting up and he couldn't give me a ride that night 😂😂😂. Point Being, a 10 second truck is hauling ass. KZbin has people thinking if it doesn't run 7s its not fast. When most people would shit their pants and forget their name just riding in a 10 second truck with papatron. Good Job guys, love the father and son builds and the realistic budget.

My sbe stock compression no aftermarket head all motor 6.2 obs with a heavy 4l80 leaving at idle ran consistent 6.40’s and 9.80’s in the 1/8th. You might just need some tuning adjustments

Wondering if you cooked the oil inside the turbo/bearing/bushing. Easy thing to do and it's why those turbo cool down pumps exist to keep oil and/or water circulation until the turbo cools down. Check 'er out, do the work, you'll figure it out. Good luck guys!

Yeah, we wanted to leave on 8psi but the turbo being hard to spin made it not want to spool up on the brake. At least that's my theory
