But he's really that great that always got mistaken as main dancer, even the members acknowledge how San improve soo much than when he just entered without any dance background and he's now one of the best dancer not only in ateez but also in whole kpop industry. Hongjoong and Seonghwa said on live, they will be upset if San didn't call as dancer line. On their latest comeback showcase, FINALLY, KQ introduce San as "Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer and Fan Attracting Fairy".

I don’t know if San will ever see this or if he’s aware of all the times professionals or idols praised him but he really deserves it more than anyone else. Like ateez always say, San is hard work and passion. He went from nothing to becoming the best performer in kpop, making a name for himself in the industry months after his debut despite coming from a small company and being part of a still not known group. He literally is the definition of hard work. When the other members were all way ahead of him, 5 out of 8 coming from different agencies/companies so with a solid start while San only knew how to sing and compose songs. And despite that look at him now, not a professional that doesn’t point out how good of a dancer he is. So yes while all of them are great dancers and in kpop there are so many talented idols, no one deserves these praises more than San. He worked hard to get where he is now and I he deserves to be proud of himself and everything he achieved

To those who are trying to cast shadows of doubt on San and say he was only a student taught by the other members how to dance during his trainee days, and assuming San really was a non dancer before he became one all because of his teacher-members... this is all I could say: A good teacher or professor will easily spot the best student in class and ofc give him that recognition for his hard work and commitment. A teacher cannot be insecure to a student that he knows someday will be able to achieve more than him in the future. Isn't it the best accomplishment for a teacher to know that awkward and difficult student he once guided and taught is now the best dancer in his class bc of him? I'm also pretty sure that student achiever will always thank his teacher as he develops his craft on his own. I love how San performs and I will be his fan until my last breath.

san had a dance teacher pre-debut tho? he had a teacher and learned a lot from his teacher. but san-yunho-mingi were the closest pre-debut. all the trainees under kq were like rivals but those 3 didn’t care about it and wanted to debut TOGETHER so much. that’s why mingi and yunho helped san. after their training ended, they were always meeting to dance together and help san to improve. that’s such a precious friendship there. i cant believe that people use it to shade san’s hard working now. disgusting behavior from disgusting people

San is special and so rare in this industry where in my observation only those artists who follow the norm are the ones that are usually recognized by stans. While San himself said he couldn't boast of any background in dance during his high school days, it should be considered he also studied in an art school so he is really inclined towards the medium and most notably had the passion to achieve or even surpass his goals. He has mentioned that what he lacked in his early years he strived to fulfill through hardwork and dedication. I love seeing their take, relatable content! I danced through college and the dance component, that artistry, is a big part of what got me into Kpop and Ateez. In fact there is no main dancer in ATEEZ because Hongjoong (aka the captain of ATEEZ) told us to not work with those positions anymore because ATEEZ are so good especially in dance and he will be upset if we don't consider San as a part of the dance line so San being the best dancer and performer of the group make sense and I'm happy it's being said by professional dancers :) Also the fact that San had no dancing background when he joined KQ for the first time made me respect him more and more because he clearly worked hard to start from no experience in dance to be the best dancer recognized by professional dancers... He was originally not going to be debuted with Ateez, because KQ didn't think his dancing was up to the other guys, but he put in the hours & now he's Legendary. Sani my man dancer ❤️❤️❤️ it's really funny atiny always get out of their way to say San doesn't have technique, he's just a performer, someone dances better by atiny graduated at the academy of knowing nothing, when he's been praised since beginning by professionals, and idols choosing him as a model, atiny blame San for their fav not being praised, recognized, popular, anything that San name comes out they want the same for their bias and they sometimes force people to do it, they send hate for people who mention him and don't mention others members, it's ridiculous and it's NOT San's fault he is able to capture people's attention, kq and atiny should use this but they prefere play blind, hide him or make fun of him, I swear when I compare San treatment of his own fandom(and KQ) with other groups it's embarrassing this fandom throws San on the fire for a couple of likes, they not protect him at all, the hate San gets in his own fandom it's becoming apparent for other people/fandoms, atiny are not scared to say hateful things now and only San fans defend him because the majority of the fandom agrees, I've seen other groups stans saying that atiny normalized discret San and it's true it become the norm and you know why? because they don't disagree and it's stressful to fight a whole fandom, new atinys that chooses him as bias already noticed with days in the fd. San is praised for dancing well even gained the lead dancer position, it should be a long time ago and it could be main, suddenly ateez does not have positions only to discrete San, the narrative always change he didn't have a title so he was not good now he has and now titles don't matter, same with lead vocal position, facial expressions, fan fairy or face of the group. He is always remembered when the industry talks about great dancers, performers, best fancams and is always with the big names in kpop, talent and hard hard work, starting behind and be able to lead in the front, like he once said I won't say anything, you can observe me instead, words are nothing without action, you criticize him and he proves you wrong 👍

SAN MAIN DANCER PERIOD!! This man dancing skills are no joke he could easily outdance half of the industry... He has been always recognized and praised by professional dancers... Literally every dancer reacting to ATEEZ is amazed by San dancing skills and they called him main dancer because besides his performance and the facial expressions his dance is so unique and memorable and satisfying and I'm happy to see more professionals recognizing his dancing skills :)

As a dancer as well I agree with you picking San because this man's dancing skills are on another level! I agree all of them are amazing dancers for sure and I agree as well that San focus more on performance but as a dancer his dancing skills are one of the best ever and I can't ignore them as a dancer... The way he isolates different part of his body, the way he control his body and the way he is groovy (his grooves didn't show well in Bouncy choreo but in other choreos as Deja vu you will find him very groovy), also the way he uses his dynamics/textures is really impressive and make his dancing so pleasant to watch... san’s official position in the group is the lead vocal, the lead dancer., main performer and face of the group. he was confirmed as the lead dancer by kq this june! (tho according to the members, he’s a main dancer and the best dancer along with yunho) san’s dance skills are recognized by many dancers and professionals in the industry. many non-fans think he’s a main dancer. he definitely has main dancer techniques. he actually didn’t know how to dance when he joined kq at a point he couldn’t join the other members for the monthly test and cried alone. the members said san was not in the dance line when they debuted but right now he’s a dance line member and is one of the best dancers in the group! now he makes choreographies, even the killing part of deja vu choreo was made by san! he’s one of the members who memorize the choreography fastest, he’s also one of the members who help the other members a lot! San is very famous as a performer and known as the best 4th gen performer and one of the best performers in the industry. so you’re definitely not wrong for choosing him! thank you for acknowledging his hard work. he deserves all the praise Update: san was confirmed as a main dancer in December 2023

I'm tired of this seeing some people discrediting San at the comments. Why can we praise San freely as much as we want? Every time non fans praise him for his dance, vocal or visual the reply always "Oh he's not the main dancer, the main vocal, the main visual. You should look at X, Y, Z. He's better." Can you just be happy and praise him? Please learn to praise your faves without disrespecting other members. This didn't happen when the same praise goes to other members.
