As a previous picky eater, biggest thing that helped was taking cooking classes suprisingly. Being taught how to make complex dishes all with ingredients I liked (even sometimes ingredients I didn't) and it being a delicious outcome made me way more willing to try new foods. Now if I go to a restaurant I'm not going to order a new dish at risk of hating it, but if I'm with someone and they get something I've never had, I'll try it. Major progress for me

I started eating tomatos because of Caprese Salad as well! I thought it looked so refreshing and appatizing, but I knew I didn't like tomatoes...but I took a leap of faith, loved it and been eating my tomatoes like a brave soldier ever since! One of the things I didn't like was that they kind of abused the trust. At first it was all good foods that Rhett likes and trying to get Link to appreciate them, but then they tricked him with testicles which isn't something even Rhett would like.

What do I need to say or do to get #2 of this video to happen?! I loved every bit of it. Rhett tried so hard to try and make Link feel as comfortable as possible and he took Links answers very well instead of arguing with him about it. Link should be proud of himself because I think he did very well for himself in both the actual tasting and also admitting to liking or not liking them (especially the tomato).

I will say Link is definitely way more adventurous than your average picky eater. Here's the thing about some picky eaters... it's a lot to do with the texture of things more than the actual taste. my brain just goes "this is ick" and I can't. we just like what we like and that's it.
