Thanks for doing my suggestion! I didn't think Saxon Hearth Troops would lose that badly. I knew Cataphracts and War Elephants would demolish Saxon Hearth Troops, but I didn't think the basic Elephants could do it.

I'm shocked that Saxon Hearth Troops did worse than Chosen Swordsmen, as Saxon hearth have better stats than Chosen Swordsmen. Maybe Warcry was the difference?

I think they just seem to kill much slower than they do because beside warcry the Hearth Troops have 2 less attack. I do wish Quality would make a 2nd video using the Remaster so we could see how well the Hearth Troops would do with Shield Wall used since the Remaster mixes the source code for both Expansions to the original so we can have both War Cry and Phalanx.

It was quite frustrating watching the cataphracts versus, they seem to be in a constant state of retreat and do not seem to make as many attacks, but when they do they actually inflict a surprising amount of damage - do they have a shieldwall formation by any chance?

These tests with BI are interesting because even though I bought BI expansion back in the day, I never actually played it. I only got it because RTW mods were starting to require it. So I know very little about BI other than the Romans got morale issues and the Sassanid cavalry is broken.

Please do a version with Sheild Wall using the Remaster, it should be even easier to mod than the OG just for the fact the source code for BI and Alex are in the OG so you can just use the unit with Shield Wall.

weve seen how the saxons fare against the jumbo's, its only fair we let the other two british bi factions have a go, lets see how well the British legionaries and galloglasses/hounds of cunalan fare against the cavalry gauntlet.
