I just love Sean. Something about him is just flat out hilarious. He's got the kind of humor that really makes me laugh....

I think Labs should be both Brad & Sean teaching others. They have unique styles of teaching/learning and I think it would work well!

Honestly.. This was such a top tier upload!! EXtremely informative.. Easy to follow and understand.. And you can actually witness the results!!! Great friggin work to both Sean ( improved your not so strong, short game, into pretty dang good... really friggin quickly) But obviously also great friggin work to "coach Brad" ... brother can teach a whole semester in 30 minutes!! lmfao.. and shout out to the camera man for the perfect shots!!! Keep this stuff up!! I promise itll go a long away and take off!!! Cant wait for the next one!!!

More of this pleaaase. There is a good array of skill now in the group, it will be interesting to see you give lessons to the different handicaps. Great stuff, no such thing as too much of this content.

Sean is awesome. He’s a pro but still recognizes areas where someone is maybe a little better. It would be interesting to see a series where these take someone new and try to walk them through the basics

I remember seeing Dalhke at the JI at Sage Valley. Dude was country strong as a junior. Popeye forearms! Kid hit it a ton before going to college! Glad you're enjoying the new chapter!
@peytonkrumlauf77662 сағат бұрын
You should both do the labs together. it's good to have someone who also knows a lot. It allows Brad and Sean to give more detail and expand on the reasoning for a shot. Ps. I thought it was more entertaining and hopefully could grow the GG labs .❤

Good stuff fellas... definitely gonna reference this next year. My short game was beautiful out of the gate this year and got progressively worse. Unfortunately golf season is basically over in Ohio so back to the grind next year.

I would love to see a labs video that is about the most basic swing fundamentals possible. Its really hard to find a good video with the most basic stuff and with the production quality of these videos i think it would be awesome.

Special request (3) - please create some repeating loops of Brad's driver swing and a compilation of 'best shots'. Similar to the Ben Hogan loops that can be found on the internets. (It is OK to ignore Brad's objections to being compared to Ben Hogen :) )

Love seeing the extras stuff, can’t wait for a bald Brad. I had a question about opening the club face in general. How do you make sure that the club face is square when making contact, so the ball doesn’t shoot too far away from you (IE to the right if you’re right handed)?
@braddalkegolf3 сағат бұрын
You want it to be open at impact! But also the steepness and shaft lean should close it down a little bit. But if it’s still coming a little right that’s okay, just line up a little left of the target!

@@braddalkegolf Thanks for the response! I’ll go hit a few over lunch tomorrow!

It's easier to just use a different wedge. I use two sets of wedges and short irons. I have one for Georgia /Carolinas where it's grainy Bermuda. Wide and all the bounce, vs I play much less in NY on bent and fescue with almost no grain. You can be a one wedge guy down south but you need two drastically different bounces on you sand and lob playing north east golf with beach sand bunkers and fescue. I literally have the heel removed for those tight firm lies, I don't want to feel it drag or flip the face, but you need a sharper leading edge on the irons because the turf is so hard vs more bounce on soft Bermuda. I play zx5/7 combo down south and zx7/zforged up north. It's nearly impossible to a have a perfect lob wedge for all the different turf types. You'll know instantly as soon as that blade sticks in the ground one time🤦♂️.

Do a series with a 25+ handicap and see how low he can go at the end

Brad, when opening up a wedge as open as you demonstrated, do you take the club more straight back or stay with a bit more quick up and down?

I have a question, what about when your ball is tee'd up on some tall grass near the green? is a 60degree the wrong move to chip it? cause I've noticed I'm more likely to swing right underneath the ball and go nowhere, do you recommend clubbing up to a P wedge or something to chip/bump with?
@cockofdoody4ftw5 сағат бұрын
If I still feel confident with my 60 and I need it to go high and land soft floating out of tall grass, I get the toe way down, handle higher, standing a little closer, and take my normal chip with a slightly firmer grip - will come out a smidge low and low spin compared to normal, but less risk of sliding under or having the heel get caught up in the thick
