Littlest Pet Shop is about Blythe, a girl who's living above a Pet Shop and who can talk to the animals. So we follow her at the Pet Shop where she became an employee, but also her daily life like school. And in the school, there are that twins who have a rich father and are just mean. They're the antagonist in the series, and why they hate Blythe? Because they want to. 😂

They are a large rodent that is capable of jumping, and best known for taking dust baths (they are desert dwelling, and their fur is so thick that if they were to be washed, the water would get trapped in it and cause mold). 2) Rhapsody is a specific type of song. It is defined by telling a story, and having multiple styles to it. Bohemian Rhapsody just happen to be one of the more -- if not the most -- popular example of it.

I think a lot of the FiM writing team worked on the 2012 show, and Daniel Ingram worked on the songs. The show was great, ran for four full seasons (104 episodes) and honestly never once felt like it dipped in quality, I think a large part of that is because the writers were pretty much free to just do their thing. So many banger songs and fun characters - the Biskit Twins especially are just hilarious XD

If only MLP: Friendship is Magic could've learned from LPS 2012 & ended at Season 4. Ending it at Season 5 would've been great too with Starlight Glimmer potentially being the new lead in a reimagined MLP series that would've been G5 in contrast to what's G5 today.

LPS 2012 was one of my all time favorite Hub Network shows next to mlp and Dan Vs! And it makes me happy to see that someone is reacting to the songs! Sadly these days nobody seems to remember the 2012 LPS series but i'm glad to see you doing a reaction vid to the shows songs Mathew! When it came to being Hasbro's best selling franchises LPS has never gotten nearly as much love as mlp, Hell it's always been my opinion that LPS has always been living in mlp's shadow, True LPS hasn't been around for as long as mlp and it's never been as popular as mlp but still. Anyway, The songs in LPS 2012 are some of my all time favorites!!!

From my experience watching some of the show, I feel like LPS 2012 could've really taken off if its artstyle (particularly the look of the humans) was a bit more widely appealing. That was really the only thing really hampering it, I think.

The way my heart skipped a beat when I saw this is my notifications 😭 If you plan on making a part 2, almost every song in LPS 2012 absolutely slays imo so choices should be aplenty, but I suggest Wolfified and Humanarian specifically. Wolfified - my favourite song in the entire series - is apparently a Thriller parody but I wouldn’t know. Something about it has always stuck out to me, but it’s probably just the fact that it’s sung by my two favourite characters. Humanarian is VERY 80s and it’s fantastic! The visuals are also stunning which really adds to the vibe. Before I ever heard Wolfified it was easily my favourite, I’d listen to it on repeat in the car all the time lol

For context and to clarify a few things: Blythe is the ONLY person in LPS that can hear and understand animals and pets (she's also the main character), the Biskit twins like to make fun of her a lot or just treat her unfairly Though context for Guilty Tango - Blythe did something at school that gets the biskit twins in trouble for something she did on accident and becomes anxious that they'll get punished severely, Pepper (the skunk) feels guilty for breaking Vinnie's (the lizard) favorite rock To answer a few questions - 1. Chesmere and Velvet are chinchillas and twins just like the biskits, the biskit twins don't know or understand a word they're saying tho 2. The show does tackle things about pet shows, but in this case, Blythe likes to design pet clothing and loves seeing them try the clothes out at pet fashion shows (all of the pets are completely fine with this btw) 3. Not something you asked but a small fact, the cheuffer is actually Blythe's dad, he was trying to get the biskit twins to change in the rhaphsody song Idk why I still remember this but yeah

I haven't watched this show in YEARS but it does get pretty weird at times lol. Also, from what I remember, Blythe is the only one who can understand the animals, which is why nobody else really directly talks to them. She literally falls down a hole or something into the pet shop, hits her head, and then freaks out because she can suddenly understand the pets. I forgot that there was even songs in this show-and hearing The Guilty Tango was WILD because I've been seeing it around for a while and had no idea it was from this show.

Once again you summon my intense knowledge on 2010s tv shows that are a bit strange. To explain the plotline of Littlest Pet Shop, our protagonist, Blythe Baxter moves into the city with her father, Rodger Baxter, and ends up living in an apartment over the Littlest Pet Shop, a small little shop that also works as a daycare center for all sorts of pets. During her first day at her new home Blythe ends up stumbling into the Pet Shop daycare and discovers that she can understand animals. Blythe is the only human character in this show who can understand animals. The show itself is based off of a popular kids toy brand of animal bobble head toys. That’s why the pets are designed with such large beads compared to the other parts of their bodies. Now to explain the songs. Biskit Twin Rhapsody is a song sung by Rodger Baxter and the Biskit Twins. Rodger works as a pilot but during a low flight period he takes a second job as a chauffeur for the Biskit Twins. The twins are the local mean girls who really dislike Blythe solely cause she said no to being their friend. The twins are the daughter of Fisher Biskit, the owner of the Largest Ever Pet Shop. Rodger works as probably one of the first positive role models these girls get and for a split moment they are almost nice. The Fire Hydrant Song. So a main part of Blythe’s character is she’s a fashion designer. And as she starts working at LPS she becomes a pet fashion designer. In the second season we even see her get invited to take part in a pet fashion expo which is what Zoe was talking about. Zoe, the dog, is a bit of a diva. She’s become a star in the pet show industry, is an actress, a singer, and a fashion mode. Very versatile dog who has one of the strongest bonds with Blythe. The song itself is her just hyping herself up so she can do justice to Blythe’s design. So Like Bored is just a banger for the Biskit Twins. They’re indeed the rich girls who are very detached from reality. But we get to see their love for their pet chinchillas. Cashmere and Velvet are just the perfect kind of pets for the Biskit. Exotic and very prissy. And finally the Guilty Tango. Just an insane banger. This series has a weird semblance of what is diegetic and non diegetic. The basic premise of this one is Blythe accidentally got the twins suspended from school and feels guilty over it. Despite how mean they are to her she is a good person who wants to do the right thing. On the other side, Pepper the skunk, is feeling guilt over destroying her friend, Vinny the geckos, lucky rock during a comedy act. Pepper’s main character trait is she’s a comedian but she has one of the strongest moral compas in the group. Really do hope to see you react to more songs. Meet the Pet Shop pets or the Pet Shop song, title changes often, is a great introduction to who our main cast is if you react to any more songs. And a fair warning the songs range from story songs, character songs, and what the heck did I just watch songs. They’re great but a bit bizarre

I’m so glad you’ve decided to listen to LPS music! The show used to be on the HUB network alongside My Little Pony and Rescue Bots, but didn’t have an active fanbase from what I could tell. My favorite songs from the show are Pet Peeves, My Biggest Secret, and Be Yourself. There’s also a really catchy fanmade song called Split Feelings about the Biskit Twins! Another fun fact is that Blythe Baxter is the same voice actress as Rainbow Dash, and there was actually a HUB commercial add about it. It was always more underrated but I watched it alongside MLP FiM and _Pound Puppies_ 2010, and they were all a lot of fun. 😆 Also lol the lack of any context you have that made even Blythe talking to Zoe confusing, which is part of the main premise of the show lmao. 🤣 The songs were really nice, although some of the rhymes could get kind of silly lol. Oh man I haven’t thought about this show in years! Blythe, the girl with brown hair, is the only person who can understand what the animals are saying. She lives above Littlest Pet Shop, the littlest pet shop in Downtown City. The show is episodic, some episodes are based in the shop, some at Blythe’s school, and other such locations. And, as already acknowledged, the songs slap :)

Only the girl who is the protagonist in the show can actually understand what she is actually talking about she is like the Dr. Dolittle in this Cartoon she is like him because she can speak and understand any pet or even non pets basically every one of the animals that do exist in the reality

8:21 here’s a little backstory. Basically the main character she moved into the apartment above the littlest pet shop, and then she found out she could understand animals which she did not know before and later on in the series, she found out her mum shared the same gift. . So she’s the only one who can understand the animals
