The same thing happened to me at Junction 5 Doncaster services, extra long trailer pulled out It was parked beside me and took my passenger door and all my mirrors. scared the poop out of me glad you're ok it's one of the worst phone calls you can make to your boss. I used to go to Shepshed quite a bit, we used to load chippings out of the quarry over the road so used to try and get in the cafe when we did! I believe they were Keyfuels as well, so used to be a handy stop for us. Also did the feed mill there once or twice. We went up to Alton Towers from our home in Norfolk, me and my girlfriend at the time and another couple, and I dragged them all in there for a fry up which my Mrs at the time wasn’t overly impressed by, but our friends loved it 😂 I actually thought as you pulled in through the barrier ‘there doesn’t look much room to manoeuvre in there’, and it wasn’t even that busy at the time. Hope you soon get the motor sorted and aren’t driving it about with scars for months. All the best 😊👍🏻

Kev, quick question. I am still learning regarding the WTD and driving hours. Thing that's stumping me is the 90 hours in 2 consecutive weeks. Is this working time or driving time? I hear a company near me has drivers and i was told they do over 50 hours per week, could this be true?

It's hard to know what I am looking at with those photos. So much close up, I don't know which part of the vehicle it is without context. This is a common mistake when taking photos. Where it is in relation to the others and then add the close-up.

Who do you feel is showing off David? Personally I feel it improves awareness as all is there to see and the slightest mistake is open to criticism, also giving a running commentary increases situational awareness. Talking to a camera is also much safer than talking on a phone using a hands free device, if I need to pay particular attention to a situation I often just stop talking to the camera, if your talking on the phone the other person isn't aware of a developing situation forcing you to divide your attention between continuing to listen to the conversation and reacting to the situation in front of you.
