Digital opened up drums to countless people, apartments, bedrooms, where traditional drums can't be played. Let's not condemn the digital, but my Sonor Martini AQ2, I could hear myself playing again, on and off beats, flaws, mishits and more... Yeah... An analog kit is better, if your neighbours don't mind... You can do a hell of a lot with Cymbals, and toms come alive with subtle variations you can't get with a digital voiced font

Giving the acoustic all the dues it deserves - and there are no shortages! - if an electric/digital kit is your desire, then you cannot go wrong with the Roland TD-50K2 series. The company has created a full kit designed for every eventuality ranging from home to studio to live performance whether the sound you want to project is audible to anyone listening in (as an acoustic) or using that sound confined to a pair of headphones (to keep the neighbours or audiophobes happy!!).

Such a great band what what gets under my skin almost every time they play at these (wedding) events is the non-responsiveness of the crowd who hired them in the first place!
