@@webstercat go stir the pot somewhere else. If you loved this musical interpretation enough to listen to it, leave it at that. Digging through comments to find something to find offense to is just plain desperate. Either love and accept, or stay your ass home and keep your troll mouth shut. Awesome interpretation of a great song.

You know that Brazil and Paraguay are practically antipodal to Japan - this means that, if you drilled a hole all the way through the earth from Japan, you'd end up almost in Brazil. Coincidence? I think not. Sorry, flat-earthers - you lose.

What a bass player! He knows exactly what to play and when there's space for him to show off a bit. He adjusts his energy so well to what the song needs at every point. All those little responses to licks from the guitarist and keyboardist. That being said, the rest of the band is very tight and tasteful too! A piece of rhythm section heaven.

1:28 Sweet little piece on the guitar. One thing I've come to learn over the years having listened to many styles of music from Japan (from the 1970s to the present) is how outstanding the level of musicianship is. With that also comes tremendous levels of feeling, groove and pure passion for making music. It has been a pleasure listening to this wonderful piece of music. ありがとうございました

It takes talent and originality to play this song in a mellow vibe without it slipping into "smooth jazz" (using the current negative connotation). Originality, technique, and just plain funkiness on display here.

Outstanding! Everybody is talking about guitar and bass (dont forget the piano). But the drummer does an astonishing job, too! That's a groove right there!

Less is more 😍😍😍love how they choose being melodic over showing off fast notes
@DiandraStarShine2 жыл бұрын
well it's a classic that 'almost demands' that by it's very [original] nature, so makes sense to me as well.👍and so far, I've not heard anyone rearrange this classic song with "fast notes." which, of course, would be fine for those who like them - whether they be musicians or consumers of music, to each their own re: preferences..& this cover by Toshiki Soejima is truly fantastic, imho & probably my favorite instrumental version of it.🎸
