It's an excellent raft you've got there. just a couple of things: is that some sort of anti-slip that's painted on the deck? Also, is that trolling motor remotely controlled for steering?
@FishingWithTimmyTurtle6 жыл бұрын
no anti slip just the marine ply. the motor can be controlled by foot pedal or by wireless remote depends which electric motor you buy though

Yo Timmy killing it but it's really important that when a fish like a jack or bream ect gets u snagged free spool it it could take 1 min to 5 mins but u wont get snapped off and keep loosing gear and u atleast have a solid chance of landing them fush

Fishing With Timmy Turtle thanks mate, is it comfortable to use? As in is it light and comfortable to hold. What's the rod by the way? Thx
@FishingWithTimmyTurtle7 жыл бұрын
extremely light and comfortable thats why i got it. i fish for long periods of time so wanted really good light gear that wouldn't let me down. its a megabass racing condition 2-8lb but if you are only going to get the one rod i would recommend the 2-10lb great all round rod

@FishingWithTimmyTurtle7 жыл бұрын
then i may as well use my jack gear and not chase bream. and then i can guarantee you wouldn't get the bite. so is it better to have light gear and loose drag and take you chances or have more fish less days.

Love yours vids but even on 6 pound I reckon you could tighten that drag a bit ;)
@FishingWithTimmyTurtle7 жыл бұрын
yer i could but i don't believe its the right thing to do. in my experience light line fishing for jacks you want it so loose they have nothing to pull against. you will not stop a jack on six pound. you can't stop then on 20 half the time if you tighten up on them. so there is not point going tighter.
