@isaacdalziel57723 жыл бұрын
Might be to do with the fact that they analyse their own games so much
@dsrguru3 жыл бұрын
It's not that he's remembering the opening. He's first looking at the position to see if it's a structure that normally arises from a particular opening (something us peasants can do if we've studied the opening in question or maybe if we've read Chess Structures by Mauricio Flores Rios), and then he's searching his memory for tournament games he's played (i.e. games he then spent time analyzing after the tournament) that started from that opening. Even if you're not a GM, studying your games after a tournament until you know them inside and out is a really good way to improve.
@GaussianEntity3 жыл бұрын

Marcus Obero It was some small thing that wasn’t too much of a big deal but Hikaru wasn’t very keen on the idea of the Botez Sisters playing Chess under the “Just Chatting” section on Twitch since it would draw away from the main Chess section. He voiced his opinion on it and then everyone thought Hikaru and Botez didn’t get along with each other and they haven’t really played Chess against each other or been in a video together for a while. It was a minor disagreement but based off of this, it seems they are all good now.
