Got to give credit to the Coalition/Remaining British for holding on for so long against the wave of French troops. The French players failed to consider taking multiple angles early on instead of only 2 ways of attacking the Coalition and timing the cavalry better when the troop numbers were lowered.

Oh hell yeah more Pixelated Apollo and Napoleon! I always love seeing you come back to this game for battles like this. Makes me wish somebody would properly tackle this genre of RTS and make a Napoleonic/Georgian era game again.

@@loyalpiper I've played Civil War. I suppose you could count Ultimate General. I know it has the guy who made DarthMod working with them too who is a very talented person. But it still doesn't look and feel as good as these older modded TW games. Ultimate General just doesn't have the visual and sound impact that I really seek. I like the good simulations for battles but there were still details lacking. Lack of dead bodies in the wake of major engagements that would despawn anyways after a while, the underwhelming smoke and firing of weaponry, and the same voice lines over and over again. And it has this more 2D look to it. I should have been more specific in that I wanted something that also actually has a similar battle simulation to Napoleon and Empire in terms of look and feel, and long, intense engagements similar to the best mods of these games or Ultimate General.

Great win by that lone British unit in the building to salvage the battle. French players literally went from Napoleon to Joseph Bonaparte in the last few minutes of the battle, dropping the ball to finally complete that successful comeback. The Coalition used their heads in the end.
