Can the Diagun setup a used Nissan Ecm?

This thing is 300x faster than my Autel on Nissans! There's one other brand I can't recall that it doesn't like either - maybe Chrysler, but it hates Nissans! If I connected to one at the beginning of this vid, maybe by the end I'd just be getting into the module I want to look at. On any other brand besides those 2, it's fine. Now I need to get one in here to see if I can access that NATS function. Curious if the 906TS has that capability. Which reminds me ... I need to bookmark Paul's vid so I can let him know if it does. Hey Don't feel bad even Nissans Very own Consult 3+ doesn't like connecting to Nissans 🤣🤣.. Try reprogramming a Nissan Module, i swear sometimes I think the Consult has locked up (it does that often). I have an Autel and the Autel is faster to go into individual modules than the Consult 3+ is but the consult is faster at doing the full system scan than the autel (well atleast it feels like it, i have not timed it). Also keep in mind that Nissan vehicles older than 2007 (not sure exactly what year actually) will be slower to communicate with no matter what scanner you use. The 13+ nissans are not too bad to get into semi quickly.

I have a few pocket size li ion jumper packs. They have 12v, 19v, and usb outputs. You can probably power up any of your tools or laptop with one. Oh! And sometimes you can even jump start small cars with them.

You programmed a key not the ECU. Fuel pump doesn't activate when the antitheft detects a "swapped/stolen" ecu. It will let you crank it over all day long... you aren't flooding anything because there is no fuel pressure when the antitheft is active.

Question, I keep getting a U1610 and 1611 code on my 2005 Nissan frontier Nissmo, truck will start but has will not run, no fuel pump activation, and no ignition, I do have the X431 V , before I got the truck the previous owner had the ECM, BCM, replace with known good one(s), I do get a code 5523 with the X431V, all groungs are clean as far as I know, the truck was running when previous owner had it at dealership, and was told it would cost $2700 to repair and then said it would be $1600 ------------Hmmmm, something does not sound right, all other modules are normal ---------Are there any solutions One more thing I noticed The sucurity light does noes show in the dash cluster, only on a self-test. Hey Keith, Always appreciate these videos you make... Please help sir, Nissan Juke or Rogue 2010. Has a three wire connector on the alternator. Not sure if it's computer controlled. It's not charging and when I disconnected the connector it charges. So I'm not sure what voltages I need to see on each if those wires. I get 12v on 1 of them, 8v on the other. Hoping for direction please.

The 2010 Rogue is not a computer controlled alternator. You have the Big wire coming straight from the battery which will be Source voltage (12.6v fully charged) at all times as long as the fusible link isn't blown and it sounds like its not from the voltage readings your getting. You have the pink wire which is also hot at all times (source voltage) and there is a blue wire for the battery indicator on the dash that usually illuminates key on engine off or if the alternator fails (never go by this alone).. If you turn your key to the on position and the battery light is working on the dash. You pretty much confirmed that this circuit is in tact and not likely to be your issue. Sounds like you need an alternator or your belt snapped 🤣 lol

Just got the Launch X431 V+ a few months back, been an amazing tool just have to get used to the way you access certain functions. Have had a Launch CRP129 for almost ten years was an amazing on the go scanner for me over the years. Even have one of those cheap little $35 Launch code scanner's I keep on me and lend out. I'ma mobile mechanic but the real reason I got it was because my wife's car had an all keys lost situation and the mobile locksmith wanted $500 to come reprogram the keys 😂 I laughed hung up and ordered through Amazon and had it the next day. In less then 5 minutes I figured out how to reprogram the keys and was done programming 3 smart keys on the 2011 Nissan Altima S. Now I can do the same thing as they do but charge alot less to do so.

Sadly it doesn't seem to handle those BCM's yet. Which btw neither does the Autel.
