I loved watching this! REAL hardcore playing, drawing a couple monsters back in to a safe area to kill them, carefully moving forward, casting a minion to control mobs, keeping merc alive etc. I hope there are more videos like this one showing a GOOD player controlling the battlefield and defeating a very difficult enemy, much better than all these cheesy "meta" builds where some noob lets their merc die then still runs around killing everything with bad tactics

Thank you! I'm happy people like it cause I had a ton of fun doing this run. My plan is to do the Barb next cause it requested a bunch and after that I want to do this with every class and get into running on even higher density's (the mod goes up to x10, so I've got my work cut out for me)

Just catching up on editing :) There will be a lot the coming few weeks. Thank you! It was done on players 1. I only play higher player counts when I want to level quickly. It's always a high player count when you died, that's how that works. Got through it? Yeah sure player count no problem. Died? YEAH IT WAS PLAYERS 8 AND THERE WAS STUFF EVERYWHERE IT WAS INSANE NO ONEWOULD HAVE SURVIVED.

I never saw you play on PC before, thought you were console only. Great video. U ever consider doing a run w/o runewords? It kinda nutty that you're in hell with such basic gear but the runewords really carry you through the game

I played LoD for decades so I'm very used to playing on pc. I do need to play on pc for modded stuff and streaming. However playing on console is much easier on my hand/wrist. Classic runs are always without runewords. My vendor only sin only had the ancients pledge so that was pretty close. I also tried a rare only shockdin that didn't have runewords :)

Yeah I was surprised you weren't rocking the zoo shield especially on hardcore. One thing that I never considered before though is that since you're playing ssf, without torch and Anni and other plus skills ,they'd probably be almost useless

Hello. I just started playing d2r and beat baal after a couple days. Dont know much about the game and have just picked blue, green and yellow items. Am i supposed to pick white items too? As i see you do pick them and get good stuff from them.

Welcome to the game and congrats on beating Baal. Some white items can have +skills. Best is just to look up which ones. Those can give you the +skills you want or a ton of gold that you can use to gamble

There are very good loot filters (as mods) for even better QoL. No more whole screens full of Super Healing Potions and other nonsense. Also something they should have done 20 years ago.

Pad is easier on my hand/wrist. M+kb is a bit nicer to play but not a major difference in quality once you get used to it
