Can the Hummer H2 Keep Up With a Fully Built Jeep?

Today we got the old, cheap Hummer H2 out to see if it could hang with Send it Steve's custom built Jeep! The Hummer may have met its match today.

Yeah most definitely driver skill , dude I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about don’t listen to me lol . H2 is pretty badass for being basically a heap when you guys bought it . I think you kicked ass on the trails even with getting stuck . Keep up with the content .

Nice. I had a built up Cherokee (in my videos) and she did some amazing stuff. My H2 is pretty awesome too but anything over the 17" rim with 35's make the H2 a sled. I bought it with 20s and it simply sucks on climbing. I added some 40'sx17 on my H1 super swampers and it just goes. Nice stuff guys!

Depends on the terrain for the h2. But in most extreme offroad cases, it will under perform due to its weight factor and wideness. The lighter , the better. Smaller, more agile.

Every videos of the h2 going off road looks like they struggle over the smallest obstacles...the h2 is still on my bucket list though. Right now I have a jeep wrangler and a lifted xj. I had a lifted h3 it was so slow lol.

To compare a 7000 pound hummer to a 3000 pound jeep is maybe where the ease of the jeep is coming from it's like comparing the jeep with a 250,000 dollar monster truck and then putting the jeep down. The hummer 2 is a luxury vehicle with a small lift n tires with no upgrades.if it was in my shop for a few weeks it would definitely enilate the jeep on all levels. You've got a limousine trying to climb hills with a crawlerjeep.smh😏

You can do as many upgrades as youd like on the H2. Its still going to under perform because of its weight and wideness factor no matter what.

No sure how y’all got that H2 stuck on that baby hill. Mine climbs up a 35% grade without dropping into 4WD 🤣

Shown up, yes, but that XJ not stock at all. Stock the H2 would win for the rear locker alone. The XJ only one tire gets traction, I used to get stuck all the time in 2WD in mine. Had a Isuzu Trooper at that time and it would beat the XJ in 2WD with limited slip.

Lose those wheels and get some 16s with 35-36inch tires. You have no sidewall and the larger tire is killing your suspension travel offroad.
