I too have enjoyed this bracket series. I got fitted over the weekend the Ping 410LST performed horrible for my swing. Fitter couldn't believe it. Came down to Flash sub zero and TS4. I just couldn't get the weight in the sub zero correct. It either felt too light or too heavy, but I will say it hit like a hammer. But the TS4 was clear winner with the Vylin shaft. Finally found something that performed better than my M2. So I am so looking forward to the play in bracket with the TS4. The sound and speed off the face was eye opening for me. 96mph swing speed, got my spin rates down to 2600-2800. Looking forward to getting it after the build from Club Champion. NEVER would have thought I would be swinging a Titleist.

I'd love to see a low spin battle with Sub Zero, LST, and TS4. Really surprised TS2 showed as well as it did considering the type of head it was against. Spin numbers were quite low. Lack of bulge and roll is what pushed me into TS3 at my fitting from TS2. Couldn't get used to the overly square look and hit everything left. Such a great idea doing a head to head battle this way. Keeping us all on the edge of our seats!

I have the epic flash sz and the noise is like an explosion. After each tee shot you look at the club head to check nothing is broken ! The flash also stays straight down the right hand side - noticeably. RH player. Seeing the same things as Matty (not the 300 carry 🤷♂️). The sz head is great to look at and line up too. Sits so well behind the ball and down target line.

Hey just wanted to say I have throughly enjoyed every video you guys have put out! Your information is top notch and content is both entertaining and informative. From live chat I mentioned I wanted to improve your lighting. I feel the videos you put out are great and the lighting doesn’t do it justice. I don’t know the setup you are using but even the angle/size of the lights would make a big difference. Once again I think the videos are great!
@clubchampionmedia5 жыл бұрын
appreciate the concern, but we're dealing with a very confined space to light and nothing can be permanently fixed as it's still a clubfitting space 90% of the time. There's only about 6 feet from the desk to the hitting area, so keeping lights off camera and out of the backswing causes a lot of restrictions on where they can be placed and the type of lights used.
@Jonnyfishstix5 жыл бұрын
TXG Tour Experience Golf I fully understand that. I don’t know what light stand you use but check out the manfrotto 231b column stand. I mount my camera and a 6ft softbox to that one stand and use for interviews at times. When you are done you just roll away the whole setup. The middle column can get a light rather high as well. But for your talking head stuff a light mounted above your head aimed down at you guys would look really nice. If you need the light source to be large but the fixture to be smaller falcon eyes LED flexible panels are awesome as well as FlapJack LED discs! Once again. I really do love your videos and have watched nothing but them essentially the last few days.

Fun test and as you say it's for Matt so it does not diminish what happened. It's interesting to observe the subtle improvements on a great swing and no doubt as Matt keeps improving the small margins, maybe his choice of driver and shaft will also change. It seems to me it's an on going process.
@maamold5 жыл бұрын
Before the video even starts I owned the TS2 setup as a fairway finder with my old garbage swing. Once I change my swing it was a spin machine (~36000rpm) I traded it in for the Epic Flash SZ that gave me another 20 yards and spin dropped to ~2200. I wanted to like the TS2, had a great sound and wanted to try the TS3 but they didn't have one in the 9° loft for me to hit.

Frankly, I don't understand why sound bothers people either way.....whether loud or quiet it boils down the the numbers and of course any head you don't like the sound of can be HOT MELTED. The hot melt glue will dampen any driver head so sound can easily be changed anyway. Very few places talk about or offer hot melt is probably the bigger issue.

Love Matt's simple and powerful swing! I'd really love to see a high end shaft comparison such as the Diamana DF 60X vs Aldila NXT Gen NV 65X (Specs R Close to another) because the majority of golfers won't spend $350+ on a shaft but will on a $60-$100. I'll let it go after this one lol. My question on the Cobra weight not being forward had as much to do with the M5 weights being forward and toe. I don't understand that if these drivers are set up optimally for the way Matt is swinging today, how that setup is optimal on the M5, but square face and heavy weight in back on the F9 is also an optimal setting for the same player. Head dynamics alone keep that from being apples to apples, those settings made it apples to broccoli. F9 rant over- the end.

I too appreciate a driver with good acoustics. Even if a driver hits well, if the impact sound blows out my ear drums, it's gotta go.

One slight thing guys, and only tiny, but I think all the ts shots went to the right, whereas the dispersion of the flash was both sides of straight.....as such you could argue that the ts was more predictable???? Maybe???
