@@KingKohlrabi I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. My 4runner probably cost half as much new and is paid for now. And it wouldn't surprise me if I get another 100k mile out of it. Why should a car's quality be worse if it cost so much more?

Literally sums up everything made in the 5-10 years... Drive it until the warranty is up and may god have mercy on the poor bastard who ends up with it after that. Aside from oil changes and brake pads nothing is built to be serviced anymore, just run it until it breaks and throw it away.
@xcofcd
@xcofcd 3 жыл бұрын
Yes you're right but on the other hand why should they build to last like a Mercedes w124 so someone can drive it the next 20 years somewhere in Africa without breaking, while the customers that count, the people that are willing to pay for a brand new car from the dealer have already bought 5 or 6 new ones in that time. They're kind of giving the market what it demands. People want the newest shit nowadays. It's kind of with the market for food. Everyone cries for organic sustainable food but when there's a $2/pound meat and the same for $12/pound most people buy the cheapest one... so that's what they're producing cheap shitty meat...
