I place my phone on airplane mode when I'm writing or leave it in another room. Cute idea but no more useful than a standard, simple, lockbox or safe.

I hear you, but I do like combining the timer with the lockbox. And seeing it on my desk does remind me to put the phone away and get to work.

@@WritersWins 2 comments, to state the same. Just don't use this, keep your phone in a different room. Imagine you actually have an emergency and your phone is locked, or a relative/friend needs your help. Just horrendous idea of a gadget.
