All the jokes apart, I tried it right now and it truly works. I was a mess of emotions since the last 2 days. It felt like my body was charged with emotions and I was under so much stress. I decided to hold all the fingers one by one. I first held the thumb and then the index fingers. As soon as a minute went by holding the index finger I automatically started feeling calm and a lot better. After around 10 minutes I even started laughing at some joke I thought. If half an hour ago someone would’ve told me I would feel this calm I wouldn’t have believed at all. I’m leaving this comment here so that anyone who’s here because of any mental health issue knows that THIS WORKS. Trust me I know how worse one can feel due to fear, anxiety , anger, sadness and lack of self - respect. Whoever needs this I hope you find the strength to carry on with whatever task is at your hand.

This is from Jin Shin Jyutsu. If you want to treat your whole body at once put your hands in a prayer position. It doesn't matter if you fold your fingers with palms together or touch both hands together palms facing each other and fingers straight out from palms. You are treating all your meridians, organs and all your body's systems. Do this as often as possible.

Wow this is amazing, love that you are spreading so much positivity on here! And totally agree with what you are saying, life is filled with inevitable ups and downs, we just need to learn how to deal with them! We got really into Stoicism lately and they have the best principles and tips for dealing with life in our opinion! We actually made a video about it on our KZbin channel, it's called the 5 stoic hacks to reduce stress and boost happiness! You seem like a super likeminded person so we would love for you to check out our channel! 💛

Galaxy Kitty That's just in your case. If you were to never have gotten arthritis, but say you cracked your knuckles a lot, then that would say something. But it sounds like you've never cracked your knuckles or anything, but you have arthritis. My grandma and my uncle both have arthritis because of knuckle cracking.

The third finger helps with decision... Interesting. When I first started using hand positions in yoga I felt very drawn to close the thumb to the third finger instead of to the index as is typical. I wonder if on a subconscious level our minds find the best finger to focus on. 🤔
