Here in germany a close by 2019 opened tunnel car wash takes 13 Euros for a foan wash, no wax, no clearcoat protectant, no undercarriage or extras. and up to 23 for full package. free vacuuming at the end. Extra services: Foot area vacuuming 15 Euros. Vacuuming upholstery 9 Euros. middle console clean 6 Euros. Small interior clean 38 Euros. Big interior clean 60+ Euros. Upholstery shampooing 89+ , incl.drying 119+ Euros. Leather cleaning 75+ Euros. leather care 40 Euros. rim cleaning 17 Euros. Paint cleaning, polishing and coating 319 Euros plus material. Tar wash 100 Euros. Iron decontamination 140+ Euros. And more...... Dont tell your customers but with the right equipment and tools most of this can be done DIY, often quite a bit cheaper.

A tunnel wash today is around $20 this place needs rehab new equipment or used its a good deal only if the price is right . has for the land its probably worth more without the building but then again if the land is contaminated the cleanup cost out weighs the land price .

The equipment is in good shape due to the fact it recently closed. Hanna equipment is very well built and will last several years. All it needs is just some new rollers and chains for the conveyor belt, new cloth for the mitter curtain and rocker brushes, etc. Plus, brand new car wash equipment can cost millions upon millions of dollars. The worst part is it takes forever to install and it would have to be a custom built tunnel because this building is so small. So it’s better to re-use the current stuff rather than being millions in debt.

Sparkles Wash. When I worked in Barstow I used to take the work car here, because they were one of the only places in town that accepted fleet cards. There are lots of government vehicles in the area, and they would be lined up and waiting for a wash on weekdays. Not sure why it closed, but the government carwash rate for GSA vehicles has not increased in many years. Perhaps the local Military bases have their own carwashes now. Never saw the place on the weekends. The tunnel wash did a so-so job and cars still needed to be wiped down by hand when they came out, which was not a problem being a full-service tunnel.

No, the vacuums are shown here at 5:11. The vacuum producer is still there along with the pipe work. All it needs is some hoses and nozzles and it’s ready to go.

I have 15 years experience working at that type of car wash. Honestly you would probably have to put everything brand new or semi-used and charge $8 a car wash because if you charge any more than that you're not going to make any customers but you will make your money back. It will take you about a year so $8 a car wash for a regular $10 for the middle and if they want the ultimate 15 bucks which includes armor All on the dash and tires
