This is the same principal the Neosensory device uses except theirs uses a wrist band device that vibrates to the tones the app plays, I bought one last year (payments of $250.00). Unfortunately the Neosensory does little to nothing for me. What most of us need is the hearing restoration drugs that are under development. I'm assuming this device won't do a thing for me as proved with the Neosensory device, so I can think of a whole I'd rather spend $5,000.00. I'm passing on this too.

It has been out since 2019 in Europe. Studies are fine, but what have their real world results been? Plus by default, the vast majority of tinnitus patients get better over time (habituation). So how much of the benefits would have happened regardless. Lastly a lot of what the device makers say seem to be misleading. So why would we believe anything that they would say?
@treblehealth
@treblehealth Ай бұрын
Not everyone reaches habituation, and it's true that individual experiences with tinnitus can vary widely. While studies provide valuable insights, real-world results can sometimes differ due to various factors. It's essential to critically evaluate claims made by device makers and not believe everything at face value.

They just skimmed the surface of shores research. Without actually knowing anything about it. Or doing proper placebo controlled tests. I went to the VA and got nice hearing aids. They increase ambient noise and my tinnitus is hardly noticeable. But at night, when I take them out, ambient noise is trimmed back (because my hearing aids are out and in the charging pack) and the ringing intensifies. I really get used to not hearing the loud volume of ringing when the hearing aids are in. It’s really nice. But when they come out at night, the ringing is much more noticeable.

Basically tinnitus is caused by neural hyperactivity of cells in the auditory brain. If properly tuned the device sends a similar sound to your ears and a certain electric sensory signal to your face. Sounds scammy I know but it has literally been shown in brain scans of guinea pigs to tune down this hyperactivity. Its worked in placebo controlled tests in humans. All participants reported between 60 and 75 percent reduction in a 4 week testing period. Their reduction stuck after a 3 week break which surprised the researchers.

@@jonathangreenwood5972 Hi, don’t get too depressed/anxious about it. You’re totally fresh, one month.. First few months are the worst, then it becomes more bearable. After a year or two, it becomes a non issue. The most important thing to understand is you have to first manage your anxiety. Anxiety is the trigger that worsens your tinnitus. There are many things you can do to calm anxiety. Tinnitus hearing aids, sound generators, baths, massages, soothing talk with a therapist, medications for reducing anxiety..etc. Don’t waste too much time searching for the magic machine, that will instantly cure tinnitus, cause if it doesn’t help, you’ll get even more frustrated/anxious. So try to stay positive and use the techniques that will make you feel less stressed.

I didn't know until my teens that vegetables existed outside of a can. So, now I make a plate of vegetables containing broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots with some walnuts and Sriracha sauce before eating a lesser amount of the aforementioned garbage. Whether it be some pasta or half of a sandwich with some soup or a single hot dog with half a baked potato rather than three of 'em, and no cake, ice cream, and/or cookies for dessert. And only water. No soda, beer, or liquor.

It's worth noting that tinnitus after a traumatic brain injury (TBI), such as getting punched and passing out, can occur. To ensure everything is functioning well, it's crucial for your friend to visit a neurologist for a thorough assessment. After confirming that there are no underlying issues with the brain, your friend can explore sound therapy as a potential option for managing any remaining tinnitus symptoms.

Experienced this firsthand. I was seeing an audiologist for my tinnitus and I had heard of this device. I asked about it and it turned out they were in the process of getting training to be an official Lenire provider. I had been going through some of the traditional tinnitus treatment with very limited success and even have expensive hearing aids to address some mild to moderate hearing loss thought to be the cause of my initial tinnitus. However, I was very disappointed to find out that because I'm dealing with depression/anxiety it sort of disqualified me from using the Lenire device with any hope of success. This seems like an odd caveat for a device claiming to have such success treating a condition that could obviously cause or amplify depression/anxiety. Oh well..the tinnitus torture continues.

I'll stick with the great Dr. Suzanne May of Treble Health who has helped me greatly in just 5-6 months. Also, I love my ReSound Hearing Aids/Maskers. This is what has worked for me. But it took me 4 years to find out this is what I needed. The various drs. I consulted with for 4 yrs. were worthless.
