My Costco had a pallet of falcons and they sold out in less than a week. They are going to be a great theme and the problem with the acclaimator is it’s a tad bit small. Pros are printed pieces

My Costco had the Falcon as well but it was in stock for a good month and a half. I would be worry bout the market being flooded.

I do think the mini scale ships will do well in the long run. Couple of reasons: very nice for display and two, they don't take up a ton of space like other sets do (like UCS sets). Personally, I'm not buying any at retail, waiting to buy these right before retirement on deep discount. Just like the helmet collection.

I am with you on that, def picking them up on sale, except maybe the executor because that refuses to go on sale lol

The acclimator is definitely the worst in the line. Its length/width ratio is a bit off to me. I will still get it because I have the others and I will definitely get the Home 1 yes it’s expensive but they did well on that build to me.

I also think the acclamator will do well. I'll go in this if I can it at $30. I went deep on the invisible hand at $30. I've managed to grab a couple tantove IV and M Falcon at $50 and willing to wait for retirement. The one I want more of is the executor. I think the winner will be the nebulon b frigate lol. If these midi scale ships take off the nebulon B's that are out there will see a resurgence imo.

Yes I’m gonna go hard as F on all of these mini scale ship display pieces, but I’m also gonna wait for good discounts. This is by far the worst looking set of all the mini scale ships, but since it’s apart of a collection I’ll be going deep regardless of its popularity. At the right price amongst all the other mini scale ships to collect it’s gonna be a winner IMO. Time will tell though.

This is way the poorest of the collection. The base is almost the same length as the model. I'm giving this one a miss.

For one I think it's $10 over priced and yes it matters because it eats into a small profit margin in my opinion. Two maybe I just don't have eyes for this sort of thing but I look at it and see much of nothing. This is one I would like to get at $25 so I could even under cut full retail price in retirement and still make money. Also I do like the opinion of being small in scale so they don't take up much room. That also means I don't see people paying much of a premium over retail for the privilege either. * When I really think about it this one looks more like a gwp that their trying to rob people blind with at $50. I think they should do gwp with existing stock to boost sales. The falcon would be a good gwp for a limited time with purchase of the ucs version. It could potentially be a win / win with more sales of the ucs version and then people who want the mini getting nervous it might go out of stock from gwp sales. This might be a good way to clear out inventory of other sets towards the end of year as well.

@@brickinvesting imperial star destroyer. There was a similar scale one built in 2010? But not part of this line. I would argue the ISD is the most iconic ship, or at least equal with x wing (too small scale) and Millennium Falcon. Would you really do a series and not include an imperial star destroyer? I suspect that they will not, the ISD is a dead certain seller, and arguably essential to complete the series. The death star scale means it can't be done without details but the ISD.... Well made remake would sell. There's also a question if they would do a sequel ISD variant or Dreadnaught. My take is that until an ISD is don't, the line will not meaning there is some life to the range. Certainly a couple more years of releases Other models which may appear... Nebulon B Frigate, Gozonti Light Xruiser, The Ghost, ... ? Definitely works well for mid sized ships. And will we get any new iconic designs in the next few years?
