Hi Jennifer, great grocery haul, as always! Been missing YT. My 88-year-old Daddy suffered a Traumatic brain injury on 8/11 after a bad fall. He went from independent living to a memory care unit at a nice nursing home. We have been super busy with that transition. Look forward to catching up on your vlogs!❤

meal plans do help and how fun to get the ideas of people eating! I get very fussy planning meals when we all get together..... I so want someone else to do it it...haha.....Jennifer, you do such a great job and I feel your sweet family appreciates it! You are all such a great model of the sweet American Family and that is why I love watching you! I feel you are so grounded in God's word and I love how you all show that!

The “great silverware disappearance”happens at our house too. I think it’s my teenager accidentally throwing them away when she’s rushing to clean her room. The ones I’ve bought from Walmart have worked great. I also lost my serving spoons. Maybe from bringing food to church and family gatherings and forgetting them.

Count Chocula cereal is my favorite cereal ever! We are gearing up for baking season here as well, in early December our church has a Cookie Walk, all of us bring in cookies to sell to the public, money goes to local missions ,my husband and ai will make 60 plus dozen cookies and we have 4 birthdays in December! Also the fork situation, thrift stores are a great place to find good heavy duty tableware.

Just a thought on the forks, they may be unintentionally being thrown away. My son, who has some special needs, has a habit of tossing his paper plates into the trash WITH the silverware still on top. I’ve just happened to have seen silverware at the top of the trash several times. Yes, I’m glad he’s cleaning up after himself. I keep reminding him to check the plate for silverware though. Trash is literally right next to the sink at our house so it’s not even an extra step to put the silverware in a different spot. Hoping your new set stays around longer. Take care!
@acountrylife2 ай бұрын
That’s how our kitchen is set up… sink right by trash. It definitely could be getting thrown away. That’s the only reasonable answer.

I use the glue-on KISS nails (French), which I switched to about three years ago instead of getting expensive 'pink & white' sculptured nailed because that ruined my nail beds, and they are now very thin. I follow Brittany Vasseur, and she put me onto a few tips that make the nails stay on for up to two weeks, and I've never looked back.

I have a larger family & I find I do best at Sams once a month. Buying bulk saves me lots of money. I also shop at Aldi for smaller items I need. But most of my food comes from Sam’s. For instance the large sharp cheddar cheese is much cheaper than Aldi 8 ozs. I grate my own cheese.Also chocolate chips are cheaper than Aldi at Sam’s.
