I'm pretty sure even though that helmet stopped the .44 Mag, based on how violently it caved in, it'd still fracture your skull and you'd still probably suffer some significant head trauma. It's ability to stop everything else, though - particularly the 00 Buck and 10mm - was quite impressive!

Why wouldn't you use the chin strap like it's supposed to be so the helmet isn't jumping around when hit?
@ATLAS-_-.5 ай бұрын
I know of a few people in the army, that wouldn't wear the chin strap in case a bullet did hit the helmet, it would just fling the helmet off and transfer less energy to their head.

@@ATLAS-_-.Yeah.. a full on round hitting a helmet that's tied to your head could jerk or snap your neck and I heard you only ever put chin straps on for two reasons, number one being that an A-hole officer is doing rounds or secondly you secretly fancy men and wear a dress..😅

@@Tyius420 "Shot placement" is an ego trip! I know, a Green Beret sniper that emptied an entire mag of 9mm into a methed up Taliban that was charging him, the last shot hit an eye and stopped him. @@ShastaBean The "shot placement" ego trip is a common issue on social media, where ego driven morons will shame others for something stupid. Nearly every person that tells me this hasn't been alive long enough to have an opinion. When living is bear country, we all know the caliber needs to start with 4 or larger. When mag dumping into a bear, shot placement should be instinct, not something you have time to think about.

Don't get me wrong I hate paying taxes but if I knew this is what our soldier have on the battlefield then I am a little bit happier about it.. this helmet was incredibly impressive and it done it's job and what it claimed and after alresdy being classed as compromised/damaged, so it has went beyond what it claimed it's rated for and that is really impressive.. I don't know how else to state it.. I hope they send another or a few more just so you can test how many rounds per helmet using different calibres before failure.. it would be an expensive test but honestly man I know for a fact ita only going to show more of how rhis is a capable and reliable piece of protective equipment.. like a torture test of the equipment sort of, and I get that it would be very pricey/expensive to do it thats why I'd suggest trying to cut a deal with the manufacturer.. also you need to start doing tons of clips/KZbin shorts videos.. I knkw im asking or demanding a lot here but my apologies, i am sorry i am just excited for that and wanted to share spme thoughts..👍👋
