The deebot t8 now has a self emptying bin available for purchase. I own it and absolutely love it. Works amazing. And now with the self emptying bin it's perfect.

I've been using this robot vacuum for about a month now. It's pretty awesome and does a great job. You'll still have to do minimal effort before you start it cleaning (don't leave small wires around, put some invisible walls at first time usage) but at least you can leave shoes where you want and the app makes it possible to make it nearly to be perfect. It is my best friend in my household and it makes it possible to focus on other things to clean where it can't get.

On my S5Max you can customize each rooms suction and water level. Does that one not have that feature. The only thing if the pad is installed it won’t go into that room so I wind running 2 cycles one for cleaning and one for mopping!

@@BenderTubeOG Update for the T8 dropped this week. In addition to fixed bugs you can now set the preferred suction speed, water flow and cleaning cycle preferences for each room. I just told Alexa to send the Deebot to the kitchen and it performed everything that I set for my preference (2 cycles, turbo fan speed). And the empty station and vibrating mop pad are now available for US market via their website

@@thecarnyzzzz well I bought the empty station and immediately started having the previously fixed map bugs from the standard base. I guess the firmware is logged to the charging station. I've had one update with the empty station so far that has fixed most of everything. There is still a bug when I do area cleaning of multiple rooms. I don't lose the map but I'll have to go back and label the kitchen the kitchen, so on and so forth

You should check that the brush actually spins on carpet. Sounds like most people are having the issue where the s6 max brush spins on hard floors but not carpet!?

I am using my Roborock to clean the stray litter after my cat has used the Litter Root 3. I created some trickery for this to work but I just which roborock would better integrate with Google Assistance and Alexa other than just starting and pausing the cleaning bot.

My s6 maxv brush does not spin on carpet. Roborock says this is as designed. No one should but this vacuum if they have any carpet. Even on low pile carpet it has problems. Ecovacs t8 aivi has not had any problems
