They probably won't work if you are easily distracted. That blur is just going to bore its way into your head until you go nuts. A friend of mine who works at a computer shop had a few and he let me try and i just couldn't not notice them. The effect is really really cool though.

I was thinking about something like for my setup. I experimented with monitor angles, then wondered what I could uses as a type of lens to focus the edges towards its center. 4:27 That's a feature with Nvidia surround; it cuts out the pixels that would've been behind the bezels so it continues correctly. So in this case, you can turn it off and you won't lose any information (pixels displayed wise). And I know I haven't tried it, but I have a feeling it's an immersion thing, not a competitive advantage thing.

I think he’s prob overlooked this ... cause project cars 2 have triple screen options built into the game itself , FOV adjustments etc ... but then again maybe is It’s the original project cars 1 ... which has triple screen support but doesn’t adjust for side screen angles . Basically it is rendered as if it’s a very wide flat screen , however it not sure the angles he was running at would make this to much of an issue , 60 degrees is where this would become an issue

I'm not sure about the first game, but yeah, 2 has support baked into the game, without needing Nvidia or AMD utilities. It even works with mixed aspect ratio, which is something Nvidia can't figure out (iRacing gets it right too). I have wide-ultrawide-wide and PC2 works great with that.

Just skip triple montior and get a VR headset so you can get a stereoscopic display of distance, and the ability to look into/around corners! And he really thinks seeing these lenses is less of an annoyance than just seeing the thin black monior bezels?

@@stanlee5465 VR is definitely fun and worth it, but sometimes you just don't want to be trapped in it, or want the better clarity of using monitors. When I started sim racing I exclusively used VR. But then I got my triple set up and I don't think I've touched my VR once since then.

Prop tip: You can move the side monitors slightly behind the center one then you only see its bezels. ;-) I'm happy now with a single 32:9 curved 1080p monitor. I exchanged that even for a super expensive triple monitor setup: 3 1440p ROG-something 3D monitors. The thing is there still exists no graphics card which can handle this properly. Therefore I had two of the best grahic cards at that time in SLI. It's just only a handful games even support SLI out of the box, like without hours of tinkering arround. Also 3x 27inch 16:9 is simply to wide. In games you get HUD elements to far to left or right and when working you'll quickly feel that this excel document on the left monitor and that PDF or the right might not be optimal in terms of position. On a single large monitor with 32:9 on the other hand you get the problem that Windows doesn't work well with that as it only tacks windows to the right, left and center part but not like 1/3 left/right/center. You can overcome this with the software Display Fusion to a certain degree but it's not perfect. Best would proably be 2x 4:3 side monitors and one 16:9 center one without any bezels. But for some reason nobody offers such a setup

@@fubar12345 VR has worse resolution. It turns out that pancake monitors are the best at creating pancake displays. Edit: Whoops thought you were talking about triple monitors and not this addon. For gaming with a higher FOV, VR does a great job right now.

@@Raulxz Those are just the panels in the headset. The contents of those panels gets stretched over your whole field of view. With pancake displays the contents is only stretched over a plane. This means that you are not wasting any resolution.

@Watchdog Some people are more vunerable than others genetically, but basically no one is guaranteed hair loss. Male pattern baldness is due to hormone build up in the scalp that causes the hair follicles to die off. Don't eat a crappy diet of nothing but carbs and crappy quality protein and hair loss is very unlikely.
