Every meat I've been buying chicken thighs because they were cheaper and would can the meat then make bone broth with gallon bag of veggie peels and canned the broth too. I canned meatloaves in widemouth pts, cooked ground beef in 1/2 pts. Meatballs and Salisbury steaks are precooked then canned. But I have switched too buying rotisserie chickens at $4.98 so much cheaper and still get bone broth from the bones. I've done 6 chickens that way so far.
