It's a permanent ban. This channel was doing fine. But due to a strike against another channel KZbin bans the account associated to this channel. Which is a terrible way for KZbin to handle things imo. All this content is still on here. KZbin is still making money of their ads, but they can't even remove the channel if they wanted.

This channel wasn't creating any problems. The strikes came from another channel that was also tied to this account. KZbin banned the account and thus they lost access to the channel. I think it was the Common Man show. Lately they've been reacting to a lot of youtuber-content and some of these channels can be incredibly petty and file an (illegitimate) DMCA strike.

If you can dig up a copy of the 'Unrated ' edition of THE RING TWO what they essentially did is sneak out Hideo Nakata's director's cut without actually saying it. It's a better movie for sure, and really shows how the studio came in a wiped almost all of Nakata's fingerprints off the theatrical version. The pacing of the scares is longer and much more effective, the sound design is very much in line with the Japanese original, and it just FEELS like a Hideo Nakata movie, where the theatrical version feels like anyone could have made it. It's a worthwhile artifact for horror fans to check out. it at least shows that there was a better version of this movie to be released. And it's easy to see why Nakata went straight back to Japan.

I hated the unrated extended version. The Ring 2 is not better then the first movie, but I thought it was still watchable/decent. I saw The Ring 2 in the theater, then months later I rented the unrated extended version and I didn't like it, they extended a lot of stuff which in my opinion in 2005 made the movie boring(now I understood why it was shorten in the first place). I didn't watch The Ring 2 again until January 2017. Back in January 2017 I was aware a third movie was coming out in February 2017 and had planned on seeing it, so I rewatch the first 2 movies. I always had the dvd of the first movie, and I went out of my way to buy the 2nd movie but I made sure it's only the theatrical version. spoilers of the third movie Because of the trailer to Rings(aka The Ring 3) I knew there will be a scene where Samera attacks people on a plane(which turned out to be the beginning of the movie), but they missed a great opportunity on how to start that whole plane sequence. Here is how I think they should do the plane sequence. We see the inside of a plane. A person is talking about a short movie he watched on a tape, someone overhears him and says he saw the same thing but it was online. Another person joins in and says she saw it too a week ago. The other people who were talking also said they saw it a week ago too. More people join in and said they saw the same thing. You then find out everyone on the plane saw the same cursed tape a week ago and somehow by coincidence or maybe Samera manipulated the turn of events to make sure all the people that saw the tape a week ago would be on the same plane just so it can be taken down and kill everyone in the crash.

@@missourigreen051 Sure, THE RING TWO is still fatally flawed at a basic script level. Nothing any director could have done would help that. But my point was that the unrated version is so clearly more akin to what Nakata does than the theatrical version the studio put out, which had rushed scares and lame musical stings where Nakata let those scenes build more.
