The VR is an awesome solution. Vivid Vision isn't available for then next year or so because they are trying to get FDA approved, but Optics Trainer is really effective too.

I'm currently using very strong prisms for my strabismus and have been consulted regarding the corrective surgery. In your testimony/sales pitch you mention surgery as being one of the things you did to correct your particular situation. The eye doctors I've talked to have told me that surgery or botox injection is really the only solution that results in significant and lasting improvement. I wish you had spoken more about your surgery and whether you were using VR before surgery, after surgery, during the recovery from surgery to strengthen your eye or whether VR by itself was the primary solution.
@strabismustostereopsis7799 Жыл бұрын
Hopefully, you were able to see all of the videos I've done about surgery! The therapy helped my brain use both eyes, the surgery got my eyes to a position where I could use them without straining. Both were important parts of my success story!

I have amblyopia and passed it to my daughter. She has really bad strabismus and patching just doesn't seem to be doing anything after almost 2 years. Where my eye will start to cross after hours or sometimes even days without corrective lenses, her's crosses immediately after removing her glasses. Trying to get her to do eye exercises is really tough, so I was curious about the vr headsets. How do I get the software you mentioned in the video? Is it available in a marketplace?
@strabismustostereopsis77992 жыл бұрын
You can buy the headset anywhere, but you've got to get Vivid Vision or Optics Trainer through a developmental optometrist.

I have just started my vivid vision. Any tips?
@strabismustostereopsis7799 Жыл бұрын
Yes! Relax your eyes and learn to use peripheral. This will make it SO much easier to transfer what you learn in vivid vision to real life! If you just squint and force your eyes within the app, transferring to real life is much more difficult. I have a course, Mastering Peripheral that could really help you! learn.strabismussolutions.com/mastering-peripheral-vision
