Happy Birthday Wesley. Wesley seems to be like his dad, quite but has a lot of wisdom. He’s a great help and knows how to deal with things. Do you think Lawrence would wear a pair of like jogger pants? The reason I’m asking is because the jeans are tight on his knee and it makes it harder to maneuver. It may take some pressure off, just to wear for PT. I’m just asking out of caring. Y’all are doing a great job while Lawrence is healing. It’s okay when you have hick ups in life, we all do. Sometimes we have to put first things first. I’m happy for you that you’re getting back into the swing of things. There are times where we just pause for a bit and then we get back to what we feel we need to be doing. Y’all are such an awesome couple raising a couple of great kids. Yes Lawrence, I have been there on the same knee, and now I have the left hip done twice on the same side. The family is doing your best to get the chores done, and when you don’t drive the tractor often it takes time to get use to it. Happy Birthday young man. Westley is quickly becoming "The Man." He seems to have a good grasp on all the equipment. I remember the bike when I had both knees replaced. It's a great day when your knees go "over the hump" and the pedals make a full rotation. Once you do it, it is easier every day, if only a little at a time. Recovery is one day at a time.

Now, I have sent along prayers for the family that lost a young boy. I hope you instill that tragedy to help Wesley to respect the equipment he drives. Even that side by side. He’s feeling mighty cocky and knowing someone just 3 years older then him died in a vehicle accident. I am praying for Wesley as well. I was young once but also stupid. Hate to see anyone learn the hard way.

I spent abut 50 years trying to find the right hiking boots. Finally figured out that trail runners are best for me. Hiked 100 miles on the AT a few weeks ago without any blisters or other foot problems. First time ever with no problems. I wear Topos but there are several good ones available, Topo, Altra, Hoka, Brooks, Whatever fits your feet best. Consult KZbin through hikers.

Those moldable freezer paks are great! I had a total hip replacement June 22. For 3 weeks I used it several times every day for 2 fo 3 hour stretches. Hip replacement causes LOTS of swelling from hip to foot! They were great! Westley did a good job on the big tractor. At 14 he should be able to drive just about everything on the farm.

Oh y’all find a way to get it done. If your ever out at a pawn shop or a garage sale and find an old long screwdriver bend it some about midway down and use it to clean out the lip of your creep feeder. It’s easier on your fingers and it holds out better to.
