Yeah, I had some spec treatments written for Top Gear and/or Grand Tour. Now that that's not going to happen it'd be fun to have these guys do it. But, the way I wrote it, it'd be best to get the entire enterprise involved and include AutoAlex & TDC. Want to see "the boys" buy cheap pick up trucks in Jacksonville FL, and drive to Pensacola, FL by way of Key West and avoiding all Interstate System roads. They can only take State and County roads. In Daytona, they can drive on the beach. And the theme would be make a UFO/Paranormal Hunter vehicle. Plenty of old haunted cities in Central Florida. And UFOs are all over. Also a ton of old Florida attractions off the beaten path like Weeki Wachee Springs and Coral Castle.

I used to not enjoy watching Ethan because he was never a full car guy, but a guy roped in with car people. This is what Ethan should've always been, someone who loves to explore and push the limits of discomfort. This is the content I enjoy and the Ethan that I enjoy!

Nah I'm pretty sure Ethan is a car guy. I think he was playing the "straight man" role so jokes and situations could bounce between him Jack and Alex. A lot of Car Throttle's early successful videos have Alex and Ethan in a car with Ethan acting like a complete idiot and it's stuck from there.

This is the channel that KZbin didn't know it needed!! it's pennies and gullies right now (Excluding the Iceland stuff, which was incredible), but if it grows like it has been doing, it's going to be a global success. That went exactly how I thought it would go. A few years ago, I tried a similar adventure. I wanted to solo canoe down the river near where I worked. I started a mile or so up stream and basically encountered every obstacle the boys did as well as a few beaver dams and small waterfalls. But instead of a small cheap inflatable kayak, I was in a 19 foot long canoe. Oh, and about fifteen minutes in, I capsized and ruined my phone. All in all, it took me about 2 hours to navigate about a mile and a half of creek/river. still a great time, I might try it again somewhere else.

It's generally the white stiff foam you get when electronics are packed in a box. Same material is used in Tom Morey's Boogie Boards. And the material can easily be welded with a heat gun. Been wanting to do the Suwannee River from its origin in Georgia through Florida to the Gulf of Mexico. Supposed to be a 3-day trip.
