Wow, has this been an amazing week filled to bursting point. We have SpaceX Starship Flight 3's Launch Timeline! Get Ready, we are only a few weeks away, but it has now fallen into March. Along with that, more launches, and commercial space innovations than any sane individual would dare to cover in a 20 minute video. We also have Progress MS-26, USSF-124, IM-1 Nova-C, Starlink Group 7-14, New Glenn Pathfinder Risen up and the ANT61 Beacon Project. Like always we’re going to season each awe-inspiring event, and mince everything up so it can be easily infused directly into you. Matrix Head Jack style.

Yes, we are living in the phenomenon I time in life for those paying attention As I blocked through my days, I am very excited about every happening in science. I’m looking for like-minded people as I walk through the day. Disappointingly so I would say two out of every 10 people I ask if they know what starship is, falcon, nine, and then SpaceX most no SpaceX because stink What was and is very disturbing is out of the 10. There was only two people that heard of starship they hadn’t seen it. They hadn’t seen falcon nine launches and landings. Nobody out of the town. I am referring to has even known about self landing boosters. Yes, if I can slow down and wait for me to show them, they see it finally, and are amazed This has been typical for months now

Get you a hotel room further north from all the commotion at South Padre, they're cheaper and more available around launches. You can absolutely still get the full effect from a launch, even 10 miles away. I was there for the first one and the balcony I was standing on was shaking like a 5+ earthquake, I was getting ready to go back inside there for a second but it started calming down. You'll never get the really good shots that you see on videos like this regardless of how close you're legally allowed to get, they have pros with remote cameras and huge lenses that most will never be able to afford, much less utilize...so just take it all in and leave the phone in your pocket instead. Another option is to camp on the beach itself, it's basically free.

something i realized while watching this is while most companies, the first use of the rocket is the time it'll be the most reliable, however with falcon9, a booster with 8 launches is clearly solid at this point. when there are other boosters with almost double that count. just something a bit funny to think about

If the project delivers then Starship is the future but Falcon 9 is already so awesome. I remember how a lot of space watchers were quite excited to mark the milestone when the first Falcon 9 booster reached double figures - doing 10 launches - and now just mentioned in passing in the commentary here (although admittedly Marcus did sound appropriately impressed) is the fact that booster 1060 blasted off "having already flown 17 times before". Falcon 9 is such an amazing workhorse that has already totally transformed the launch industry - reliable and each booster seeming to just go on and on like the Energizer Bunny. I can't remember the last time a Falcon payload deployment failed and I know there have been others but the last time I can remember a booster being lost was the one that was lost to tipping over due to bad weather fairly recently but that wasn't a booster reliability issue at all plus it was an old booster where SpaceX hadn't retrofitted the self-levelling legs so maybe if it was a more recent booster it might even have survived the adverse sea conditions.

Thanks for another great video! The Beacon seems like a good idea. Adds some weight, but you gain some redundancy and more information about what's actually going on. Congratulations to Oleg Kononeno! 890, or eventually 1110 days in space over sixteen years! That's an amazing career. And those years were spent in the challenging environment of microgravity, where every action has to be carefully considered. And good luck to Intuitive Machines. Hope their Nova-C makes a successful landing.

I’m happy to give credit where it is due, regardless of what a country’s politicians are doing, especially in areas of human advancement, such as space exploration, where we should be collaborating for the benefit of all. I understand that bias is a human failing but it’s a sad reflection on humanity, when we need apps to show us to what extent news channels are biased. If politicians & reporters had any integrity, there wouldn’t be any bias. The world would surely be a friendlier place. At least we don’t need an app to tell us that top quality channels like Marcus’s and those of his immediate competitors are free from bias. Another great video. Keep up the good work! 👍👍

@@javadabaron81 No, not at all. SpaceX, as a profit-driven company, employs a rapid and iterative design approach to development. This approach, which accepts failure as an integral part of the design process, enables them to develop their rockets much more rapidly than NASA could. In contrast, NASA is hindered by bureaucracy, governmental interference, and budgetary constraints. Their projects consistently suffer from ballooning costs and significant scheduling delays because their contractors, akin to panel-beaters eyeing insurance quotes, prioritize financial gains in government tenders. Moreover, failure during development is not an option for NASA, as it frequently leads to project terminations.
