I would almost sell my soul for a sportster like that one or a mid to late 70s Super glide ! I know that was when the American Mess-up and F-up company ran HD, but some of those bikes were jewels. Just required a man to have mechanical knowledge and skill to keep them right, and there's nothing wrong with that!

I have started and rode my friend’s 1964 Sportster XLCH. These days I own and ride a 2007 Sportster 1200 Custom. My first Sportster wasa 1986 883 Sportster which was a great bike.

Got an old 69 shovelhead, absolutely mesmerized by the vids, been a fein since I found you! Mine is customer to an fxwg ,built the wife a mini me ,she has a 76 bicentennial edition sportster ,she died in 2021 of cancer and it's been in a bag pickled 2 yrs before she died ,she did ride it once, hasn't ran since, it is built as a roadster a clone to my fx so it aint original, I would be honored to donate and commemorate her if it was worthy of your attention 🤷‍♂️,I miss her so much and I know where ur at loosing yr dad n all to the same disease 🤷‍♂️, idk if I'll ever catch ur eye but I would put on my bucket list to get to the museum n see even if my story didn't get to you? I hope u see and maybe acknowledge this ,but anyway I'll keep watching urs 😉

When it kicked back you got a Charlie horse. Always check mechanical advance to make sure it's not stuck wide open. Hard on leg and even harder on starter jack shaft.
