Can we reduce Intake Air Temps on our 1955 Chevy LS Swapped Truck?

The intake air temps on our first series 55 chevy truck basically have our LS Swap inhaling a camp fire!
But don't break out the marshmallows just yet! Lets see if we can get those down so we can get the truck ready for drum roll a DRAG STRIP pass!!!

Plastic Intake tube won’t absorb heat like that aluminum tubing does

Honestly did not think of that! Very good idea. But we might be getting more drastic than that here soon! 😂
