I wonder if you should drill a small weep hole in the underside of the snail shell blower so water won't pool up in there?

Working on one of these and the carb on mine was beyond repair but mine also didnt have 2 fuel nipples all the ones I can find similar to it on amazon or ebay have the dual fuel nipples will these still work?

Not sure. Give it a try. You could always cap off one of the nipples.
