I've put like 30k kilometers on my Cappuccino in 3 years and the only problem it's had is a broken alternator belt (on Tail of the Dragon). Even drove it on Pitt Raceway hours from home, and multiple autocrosses, Woodward Cruise in Detroit and down to TN for Tail and other twisties.

Bump starting to break the rust from the clutch and flywheel was genius, Genuinely wouldnt have thought of that and would have assumed something worse. Also for the battery, I recently just put a antigravity motorcycle battery in my Miata and just remade the terminals to fit, Now i have a battery that weighs the fraction of the weight, more CCA and is lithium so it will last wayyy longer.

The Artic Cat snowmobile has a K6A engine, which is an evolution of the F6A (chain-driven and aluminium block IIRC). Also, it makes 110hp from the factory, so it can be an upgrade. Not an easy one on the electronic side though (custom ECU ? and rev counter issues). Of course some crazy swedish guy made the swap and then upgraded it to 180hp and broke driveshafts or the center shaft, I don't remember.

LOL I literally just did a lot of this last month. My Cappuccino gas tank had sucked in on itself like an empty juice box and also developed a leak on one of the wrinkles. So I had it patched, reinflated and pulled it out the best I could and cleaned up the tank and diff and then sprayed any mildly brown areas with rust converter and protecter. Side note: prob should unplug your charcoal canister, because if it clogs it can do what happened to my tank...it's happened to a few people now...as far as I can tell I'm the first person to get a leak and fix it.

That hard line on your fuel tank looked rusty. I just had to replace some hard line because fluid was weeping through where rust thinned out the metal. If you hold fluid in there and stick your finger on the end youll see if its weeping through in a few seconds.

Hey guys, fun fact for the battery; the Prius battery is from 08 to current is still the same 12v battery. I've sold them for late 2000s to even model years close to 20. Also, sometimes checking for parts based on an engine that came with a domestically sold vehicle is agood work around the "Not sold in Us" issue for some imported vehicles.
