Um i had an idea what about 1 flower,telescope,swapping device,protactor,quiver and the rest is golden arrow since golden arrow give 4x the more and quiver will double it and protactor/telescopes will affect flower and the swapping device will swap and place to corner so it's 1.44115189E17 x 1 I'm not joking you should do it it's overpowered like so northernlion can see

I've tried to do this multiple times now, and I don't think its possible without some insane synergies early on (multiple crabs/cultists kinda deal). You simply don't have enough symbols and are burdened with too many empty spots for the first few rent payments.

Tried it, and found that its actually pretty fun. Other than making a few symbols truly pointless the game is surprisingly mostly the same, and the challenge definitely increases the difficulty enough to feel noticeable, so not a bad idea.

If you have a banana peel, then wanted poster is pretty decent for helping win the game. A thief is usually 4 per turn (paid out in bulk when he dies), but a wanted poster makes them worth 8 per turn.

I have a challenge run idea that generalizes. The "Sacred Symbol" run. For example: On the "Sacred Dwarves" run, if given the option, you must take the dwarve symbol, and any symbol or item that contains the dwarve in its description. You cannot manually remove the Dwarves, but they can be destroyed by other means. In this case, you'd have to take General Zaroff, since it has the Dwarve symbol on its description. You'd also have to take the Barrel of Dwarves, and a couple other things. If you get multiple options that contain/are Dwarves, you can choose between them. Thats the example. But instead of doing the "Sacred Dwarve run" you could choose any other symbol and play with those rules but considering that symbol. Even the "Sacred Flower run" wouldn't be so trivial

I don't know if this would be too inconvenient but i think I've got a potential idea. On each symbol choice, a poll is set up and chat votes on it. There are 4 choices, one for each symbol and one for skip. The choice that gets the most votes is blocked from being picked and the game sort of works like NL vs chat with chat trying to lose the game. Good idea or not?

A botanist will say a pepper is a fruit because it's a pod to contain seeds. Both are right in their field, but wrong in the other. More people cook than are biologists, so what most people mean by fruit is the naturally sweet fruit. So, yes, a pepper is botanically a fruit, but it's also culinarily a vegetable. Everything is a vegetable is similar. Yes, every plant is vegetation, but that's not what vegetable means to anyone not trying to win a bar argument.

the isaac challenge: roll a d5 to see which symbol you take (4 is reroll symbol, 5 is skip, 4 is reroll die if no symbol reroll). for removal, roll a die equal to your symbol and item counts, remove whatever symbol/item number it is.
