I own it and been using it for a few months gaming it on my PS5 and I love it. A great well rounded monitor. Can turn HDR mode on and off. Only “con” would be brightness. Wished you could turn it up just slightly more but other than that, solid. Highly recommend unless you allow the sun through the room you game in, the brightness may not be all there for you. If you game in a slightly darker, or complete dark room, you’ll be fine 👍🏼

I’ve been playing the map and compared to what we’ve gotten in the past these elemental swords are disappointing. You can literally just stand in the trap and play the map like it’s bo4 and there’s no need for the sword. You will probably barely see the top players using the swords. I want weapons with unique new abilities not stripped down specialist weapons which the main wonder weapons have never been.

Y'know what bugs me? Round-based zombies was never even gone. That marketing tactic was fabricated out of thin air. Cold War was the last Black Ops game before this, and it had round-based zombies, as did Vanguard. The only argument is that MW3 didn't have it, but for one thing that's Modern Warfare, a different game series, and two, that was just 1 entry.

Passion died years ago in COD, greed has taken its place. Stylized UI and cutscenes are too much work apparently (probably too "costly" from the execs point of view) and isn't important. It sucks that the talented devs and artists at Treyarch, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer get overworked and underpaid. It is truly impressive how Cod was able to do more with less 15 years ago :(

The grenade explosion wasn't real. Woods actually ripped the strap of grenades off Kravchenko before throwing him and himself out the window in "Payback" you'd paid close attention. Mason was just hallucinating the explosion due to his brainwashing extremely messing up his mind.

Bo2 pulled the "i thought you where dead" card with both mason and woods because in bo1 woods was last seen spear tackling kravcahenko off a platform with a belt of grenades and then mason gets shot and at the end comes back with "turns out your a lousy shot" so at this point it is an old family tradition for characters to come back from the dead

24:51 Zombies in Spaceland is one of the most recognizable zombies maps ever created in my opinion. A 80s theme park filled with slides, a goofy roller coaster, a huge alligator head that chomps down on you, employee rooms to train zombies, a boombox instead of monkey bombs. the sound track was literally entirely 70s-80s songs on that track. the boss battle were ACTUAL ALIENS, and they had mf david hasslehoff as the DJ around the map. that map was bursting with personality, not only with how it was present during releasing but even before. Before infinite warefare was released, i think a few select zombie creators got like VHS tapes and played them on a TV at gamestop or something. and as it was playing, it played the entirety of the first ever trailer of Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies, Zombies In Spaceland. such a beautiful presentation all the way through.

"make new gamemodes, make something interesting" ah but ya see, the cod community doesn't want that. any time they try something new, the majority of the playerbase spits on it, they just want to play babylon every time it shows up in the map selection because they don't feel like playing the game just for the game, that isn't what they find fun anymore, they have this overwhelming need to grind camos on the smallest brainmelting maps 24/7. go in domination or hardpoint, you'll be hard pressed to find people who even know that the objectives exist.

The problem with this entry in the series is that they didn't even try. Worse still, it didn't even bring what was in the previous games. Not only is there nothing new, but there is also less of what was in the previous games. They have a launcher (HE-1) that's supposed to be anti-vehicle. But there are no vehicles in the game. The launcher is literally useless. You have settings for vehicle driving and vision in the settings menu. But why? The game lacks a ground war mode. Which was present in Cold War, but Cold War didn't take 4 years to develop. So what exactly took them 4 years? A SP campaign filled with filler missions? MP mode with less content than four games before it? As he said, there's nothing "interesting" about the game. It's just another CoD game. That took 4 years to develop for some reason. I liked MW2 (2022) and Cold War better. Holy cow, they didn't even bother to make those cool intros for each map where you drive in a truck or rappel out of a helicopter. Why? It was a better way see other people's skins and guns instead of that cringe winner's circle. 4 years in development and there's less of everything

Hi act man zombies aficionado here, Weaver was one of the main characters followed in the Cold War dark Aether storyline, we didn’t play as him as we worked as operators who did his dirty work as he investigated behind the scenes, Edward Richthofen (who plays a different role in the storyline like samantha) who was also associated with the zombies in Cold War found out what weaver was doing and captured him because weaver in this universe killed his family on a mission, as long as other people throughout the Cold War-bo6 zombies experience(though they weren’t involved with the killing). They all were believed to be dead but terminus was where they were held up at and were alive. Which kicks back the story of what’s been happening to them since Cold War due to all of the zombies modes after cold war didn’t include them in the story but built up how the zombies and monsters in this universe work and add more to the dark aether so no he didn’t appear out of nowhere for us but for the people in the story which subsides the other times in call of duty where dead characters came back for no reason.

I think the big reason why mule kick didnt come back was twofold: 1. Dedicated melee slot means that you effectively have three “weapons” 2. I was really hoping for the game to feel more like a period piece. Cold War felt like a genuine espionage spy-thriller. By the time you get to The Cradle, Black Ops 6 feels completely detached from what Black Ops 1 and Cold War were. Before Black Ops 6, all of the incidents were either based on real life occurrences, or you could believe that they were covered up and hidden from history. But after this game, I can say for certain that there was never a Bill Clinton campaign fundraiser that ended with a team of rogue CIA agents escaping on motorcycles.

TLDR on Weaver being alive and the whole “I thought you died” thing: Weaver was a part of the supporters in Zombies for Cold War, where he gave assistance over the comms to our task force (Unnamed multiplayer characters woooooo). At the end of Forsaken (The last map in COD:CW) him and the rest of requiem were taken away and put in cells which you saw at the start of the terminus cutscene (which from some voice lines was for approx 6 years), and of course broke out and got to mainland after beating the Easter Egg. Ravenov knew him from back in Firebase Z from BO:CW so him not seeing Weaver for 6 years then Weaver suddenly reappears, I can see the reason behind that reaction.

Completely disagree about gobblegums, if anything its an objective upgrade. Being able to hold multiple in your inventory at once makes the system significantly more useful, since you can choose exactly when you want to use the gum or you can choose not to use it at all and have it be returned to your inventory. You also earn so many rare gobblegums that they may as well be free, I have never seen anyone run out of them and I use them constantly. The fact that you earn the gobblegums in-game is way more interesting, since you never know when you are going to unlock a perkaholic or something crazy. Bo3 also made the player way more reliant on gobblegums, since they were one of the only practical ways to get more than 4 perks unless the map you were playing also had free perk EE's. In Bo6 perkaholic works more as a progression skip, and the entire system feels way more optional. Also your comparison with Weaver returning makes no sense. In the Modern Warfare examples you gave, its a character that the audience thought was dead returning in an incredibly cheap and lazy way, with one line of dialogue to explain it. Weaver on the other hand was never dead from the audience's perspective, and was only dead from the perspective of another character. It doesnt really make sense to complain about the writing here when you don't even understand what's happening in the story. I genuinely don't understand what you are talking about with personality on Terminus though. Liberty Falls is a bit basic, but Terminus has a ton of personality. How does a tentacle trap not aesthetically fit the map focused on genetic experiments and with a giant kraken lurking underneath?
