Love the short form with these series. Easy to listen too, straight to the point, and as always very entertaining to watch our listen too!

I benched 315 at 24 after not benching since highschool created a program and hit 405 for 1 rep in 3 months. It was the first time I had a focused program and training. Wrestled in highschool. I wasn’t always considered strong but I was explosive and it translated into combat sports. I have since fallen in love with the gym.

The real question is, can people actually afford to eat health all the time? get enough protein and the like...

Yeah, I think this is way more of a financial obstacle than buying programs. There's a million free, quality programs online, or you could just buy a couple relatively cheap books like 5/3/1 and be set on programs forever. These guys all sell their own programs though, I guess...

it can add up, but i don't think it's unaffordable if you consider how expensive hobbies can get. maybe like 2k a year? really not much compared to say cars, boating, fashion, computers, etc

@@euko7469 I know, but not everybody lives in a first-world country with a high buying power (we're not talking about salaries here, but how much food you can buy with your salary in your country)

@@DS-qg9cd i'm saying comparatively to other hobbies, if you're in a situation where you are unable to get food consistently, you're probably more focused on getting food in the first place to even consider hobbies, so the point is a bit moot

I don't surf. I don't mountain or road cycle. Instead my strength training costs a membership at the Y. And i pick up the personal trainer too. And running costs running shoes, a refurbished old Garmin, and some glide. The protein powder doesn't cost a ton. Perhaps I spend too much. But lots of folk spend a lot more.

Do you guys have an online forum or group to connect with each other? For people that are into lifting weights because it can get lonely doing it and trying to make gains

It definitely doesn’t have to be expensive. But when you love something it’s easy to throw money at it. It is interesting to hear people who aren’t passionate about it tell me $70/month on a membership is a lot. And for some people it may be, but usually the person saying that is someone with the newest iPhone every 12 months 😅

Jump on tren and see results fast. In all honesty, you just gotta try and hit between RPE 6-8. For form I usually get my cues from Chad Wesley Smith of JTS. The pillars of strength videos are really informative.

It's also important to know that it's WAY more expensive to treat medical conditions later down the road when it mess you up (hypertension. diabetes, etc) than it is to spend for fitness over your entire lifetime.

No you cant. Because strength gyms they charge 50 a month membership which is way too expensive. When you can just go to a commercial gym charging 20 a month. Its great for poor families. A strength gym is for working professional wage users unfortunately. Its not as inclusive as they seem to say it is.
