Instant Pots have a wide variety of uses. Is baking one of them?
In this video I test out (or 'experiment' with) a recipe I found on Pinterest for Instant Pot bread.
Spoiler Alert: This was an Instant Pot fail on my part. I think I'll stick to the oven for bread.

I have seen a video that says it worked, and it did, but she "crusted" it under the broiler and another crusted it under the air fryer. I think the foil loose may have been the downfall? My oven broke but my bread is ready to bake so I might try it, but I might just take it out and put it in the BBQ instead. I could go to a neighbor to borrow their oven but then their house will smell amazing and I will lose my loaf of bread

My weeks of bingeing The Great British Baking Show tells me that you needed to prove your dough longer. Or maybe just not cook it in an instant pot. Lol

Made a quick bread in mine last night which is basically just a giant biscuit and it turned out pretty great. Let me try to help. I used to make about 300 lbs of dough a day. First bread made in the microwave will be much faster and once you get get down probably far better ( Microwaved fresh bread real shocker I know ). 1. If you want to make a decent bread in an IP use the slow cook setting on high unpressurized so that your bread can actually expand and plump up by the gases from the yeast as it's just not going to do that under pressure. 2. " And this is very important " Don't just cover the top but wrap the container fully and poke like 3 very, very tiny holes in the foil so moisture can escape otherwise your make dumpling from the moisture every single time. You gonna want the foil kinda tilted up in the middle in a way to where moisture doesn't run down through the holes. It should get up to about about 180-190 degrees and then toss it in oven or air fryer to brown and finish getting to 210 degrees. What I'm trying next is a higher hydration bread, Straight in IP bowl , Slow cook on high. Oh my giant biscuit was just in the IP pot.. I'm just not interested in making dense dumplings to eat. lol :) It just dawned on my if you have sous vibe you can set the temp to 210-212 and finish it off that way but you wont have that nice browned crust.

Maybe the foil or two much yeast. Look up 7 bread machine mistakes. I know you can make bread bake too in Crcok pot for 4 hours. So try again and KZbin his Video. His worked.
